I love living here. The staff are friendly, patient and helpful, neighbors are welcoming, and there's a real sense of home and community. The building is immaculate and well-maintained with secured memory care, large one-bed apartments (~1,000 sq ft), on-site restaurant, spa/beauty services, garden plots and walking trails. Plenty of activities (exercise classes, happy hours, trips on the shuttle, puzzles, card games, weekly schedule posted), multiple dining options, and competitive pricing - a wonderful choice in St. Paul.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across reviews for Lexington Landing is strongly positive. Reviewers repeatedly emphasize high-quality, attentive care and a friendly, welcoming community atmosphere. Cleanliness and good maintenance are frequently mentioned, and the facility is described as beautiful and well-organized. Many reviewers note that the residence feels like a true home rather than an institutional setting, with a strong sense of neighborliness and engaged residents.

Staff and caregiving receive especially favorable remarks. Multiple comments call out wonderful, patient, and helpful staff who provide excellent care and support. Memory care is described as secure and well-run, with specific memory-care programming and sessions available. Reviewers also mention access to resource people, suggesting administrative and clinical supports are visible and approachable.

The physical plant and living units are prominent strengths. The building is often described as new or recently updated, with new appliances and well-maintained common areas. Apartments — including large one-bedroom units around 1,000 square feet — are called out positively. On-site services such as a restaurant, spa and beauty services, an on-site shuttle, and an organized secured garden with plots add convenience and lifestyle value. Cleanliness and organization of the facility are highlighted repeatedly.

Dining and social offerings are varied and well-regarded. Residents report multiple dining options and an on-site restaurant, and reviewers appreciate that a posted weekly activity schedule keeps everyone informed. Social programming is robust: happy hours, morning coffee, puzzles, card games, library access, and spiritual life support are all mentioned. Organized trips using the facility bus/shuttle and stimulus-rich programming for both general and memory-care residents contribute to an active lifestyle.

Community life is a recurring theme. Reviewers describe welcoming neighbors, name-tag practices that help new arrivals integrate, and a general culture of friendliness. Activity ranges from exercise classes and walking/biking-trail access to garden plots and treats at social events. The tone of the reviews suggests residents find Lexington Landing both socially engaging and comfortable, with frequent mention of a ‘‘home-like’’ feeling and thoughtful, engaged neighbors.

Management, pricing, and notable patterns: reviewers mention competitive pricing, which, combined with the quality of services and amenities, leads several to call the facility a great or pleasantly surprising choice. The only consistent drawback noted is geographic: a few reviewers prefer an Edina-area location and view Lexington Landing’s St. Paul location as less desirable for them personally. Beyond that location preference, reviewers do not raise consistent operational or service complaints in the summaries provided.

In sum, Lexington Landing is portrayed as a well-maintained, amenity-rich senior living community with strong staff support, excellent cleanliness, comprehensive memory-care features, and an active social life. The combination of large, updated apartments, on-site services (dining, spa, shuttle), and a closely knit resident community are key selling points. The primary caveat is that prospective residents who prioritize a specific neighborhood (e.g., Edina) may find the St. Paul location less ideal, but otherwise the reviews portray a high level of resident satisfaction.

    About Lexington Landing

Lexington Landing sits right at the base of Lexington Parkway at West 7th Street in the Highland Park neighborhood, and offers different living options for seniors, whether someone wants independent living, needs assisted living, memory care, or even nursing home services, so you'll see all kinds of apartments here with studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom choices, plus in-home laundry with stackable washers and dryers in most units, nine-foot ceilings, and accessible bathrooms that come with elevated toilets, grab bars, and showers designed for safety, and when it comes to support, the care team looks after health monitoring and personal assistance as needed, while home health, hospice, and even transitional care are part of what's available for people who might need those services. The building stands out for its mid-rise architecture and decorated interior spaces, and there's convenience built in, from garage parking, a car wash bay, guest suites, and storage lockers, to basic cable, wireless internet, and satellite TV for everyone. You see amenities like a salon, a library, a business office, fitness center, pickleball court, artistic and creative spaces, a multi-purpose theater, beauty shop, club rooms, several lobbies, and a main dining room, and the dining team prepares nutritious meals accommodating different dietary needs, plus residents can get meal delivery at home. Housekeeping and laundry services come standard, and you get help for meals and activities during the first five days of moving in to help folks get settled. If you need help with bathing, dressing, or medications, the assisted living services cover that, and for those with dementia or Alzheimer's, they have memory care services built to reduce confusion and prevent wandering, with the community making safety a focus all throughout. Lexington Landing provides both home care and home health care services, with trained aides offering companionship and non-medical help for those who prefer staying at home. When folks want to be active and engaged, there's a fitness center, wellness programs, a bistro, guest dining for visitors, spiritual care and campus pastor support, as well as a calendar full of activities meant to involve residents socially, physically, mentally, and emotionally, so there's always something going on. Rehabilitation and mobility support are on-site too, and residents get access to a nurse practitioner or physician if needed. The friendly staff have a reputation for being helpful, joyful, and kind, making visitors and residents feel at home, and the environment is meant to be maintenance-free to let seniors focus on what matters to them. Lexington Landing is owned by the J. A. Wedum Foundation and managed by PHS Management, LLC, and with different care suites available for specific needs, details are provided if you ask.
