    About A Daughter's Love

A Daughter's Love sits on a big 100-acre farm at 25184 Thunder Road in Staples, Minnesota, and offers seniors a family home setting with plenty of open land, gardens, and walking paths, where folks can enjoy home-cooked meals, furnished rooms, and both resident and community-sponsored activities. Staff provide care around the clock, including Certified Medication Assistants, caregivers, and registered nurses, and they've got something they call the Compassionate Care Program along with Personalized Support Plans to help people with things like medication management, mobility support, or everyday needs like bathing, dressing, and transfers. Whatever folks need help with, like personal care, companionship, or even hospice care near the end of life, there's a plan, and the team tries to make everyone feel comfortable, safe, and at home, giving families some peace of mind and taking a little caregiver stress off their shoulders. The community, called A Daughter's Love Suites, has private living spaces-some with kitchenettes-and offers phone service, transportation and parking, help with move-in, and an emergency alert system so someone's always ready to help out. With licensed Housing With Services and special care for people facing dementia or Parkinson's, residents from age 51 up to 98 find care and a sense of connection here. They cook with allergy-sensitive and diabetes-friendly diets in mind, and there's daily laundry, housekeeping, movie nights, barber/salon, and plenty of communal spaces like a dining room and arts room. Folks can arrange for home care, home health, and support or referrals if needed, and there are options for independent living, assisted living, adult home care, skilled nursing, memory care, respite, and hospice support. The setting, with all the animals and gardens, has a gentle, comforting feel, and the caring staff try to look after each person's dignity and comfort, letting folks keep as much independence as possible while having help nearby, whether someone just wants a little company or needs more hands-on care. The place is open all week, day and night, and though they don't take Medicare unless certified, their costs run lower than a full-time nursing home for most long-term needs. They seem to do a steady job of helping people and families manage challenging times and focus on the basics of quality care and connection instead of fancy extras.
