    Grateful for caring staff, concerns

    I placed my parent here and overall I'm grateful: the caregivers are kind, courteous and treat residents with dignity, the community is vibrant with activities, and my parent feels safe and well cared for in a large single room with a lovely view. The facility is clean and well-maintained (including the gratitude room) and visitors are usually made to feel welcome. Two practical issues: the front-door touchscreen/number entry is unreliable and needs attention, and a 13-week contract we expected was not honored, which damaged my confidence. Despite those problems, many staff - including travel CNAs - are friendly and genuinely caring.
