    Brand new community, attentive staff

I moved my dad into this bright, brand-new community and I'm very pleased. Staff are professional, kind, and attentive; apartments are spotless and spacious; dining is restaurant-style with many options, and amenities (salon, gym, pool), activities, and transportation are top-notch. Housekeeping and laundry have been excellent - I recommend it for families seeking high-quality senior living.

    Summary of reviews

The Township Senior Living presents as a new, well-appointed senior community with strong strengths in staff engagement, memory-care programming, and hospitality-style amenities. Many families describe the physical plant as modern and hotel-like: bright common areas, chef-operated dining venues, spacious apartments with large kitchens and bathrooms, and amenities such as a salon, fitness area, pool and outdoor green space. Housekeeping and concierge services receive frequent praise, and the site offers transportation and on-site clinical oversight that families find reassuring.

Care quality and staff are consistent highlights. Reviewers commonly emphasize compassionate, attentive caregivers and a memory-care team that demonstrates patience and dementia-focused practices. Communication with families, personalized move-in support, and frequent updates are noted as strengths. At the same time, there is evidence of variability: staffing coverage can be inconsistent, and some families reported delays or reliability issues during particular shifts. A subset of comments raises concerns about management responsiveness and workplace-culture issues; prospective families should evaluate staff turnover and supervisory practices during a tour.

Dining and housekeeping generally score highly for quality and variety. The community emphasizes restaurant-style meals, chef-created menus, flexible dining hours and special-event programming. Conversely, a number of comments point to inconsistencies in meal service—slow service in the dining room at times and cold meals when delivered to rooms—which suggests operational gaps in meal delivery and service continuity. Housekeeping is widely praised, though some sanitation and odor concerns were mentioned in specific areas; verifying housekeeping schedules and odor-control procedures is advisable.

Activities and social programming are robust in many accounts: regular outings, live music, happy hours, excursions and a range of on-campus events that support engagement. That said, activity availability appears to vary by unit and shift; a few residents experienced limited programming. The community also supports family-oriented options and is pet-friendly, which many families found valuable for social continuity.

Facilities and safety: the community is new and well maintained, with spacious apartment layouts. A few operational items were flagged for attention: limited grab bars and other bathroom safety features in some apartments, constrained closet space in certain floorplates, and occasional housekeeping gaps. The location is described as rural and set off major corridors—appealing to those seeking quiet and green space but potentially less convenient for visitors and off-site medical appointments.

Administrative and financial patterns: tours and marketing staff are generally described as personable, but admissions and post-move communication could be smoother. Some families raised questions about ancillary charges and fee transparency. Cost is a recurring theme — the community is positioned at a higher price point, and several reviewers described it as costly or potentially unaffordable for some households.

Overall, Township Senior Living scores strongly on staff compassion, memory-care orientation, facility quality, and hospitality-focused dining and amenities. Key areas for prospective residents and families to investigate during a visit are staffing patterns and coverage, meal-delivery processes, laundry reliability, bathroom safety features, management responsiveness, fee transparency, and unit-specific activity schedules. Asking for current staffing ratios, recent infection-control and outbreak management policies, sample menus with service protocols, and a written explanation of fees will help assess fit for an individual resident's care and lifestyle needs.
