    Great direct care, dishonest management

I placed my grandma here for a respite stay and I was impressed - the facility is clean and homey, nurses, dietician and pharmacist assistant are professional and attentive, staff went above and beyond to keep her clean, groomed, on special diets and clearly cared. Unfortunately management behaved dishonestly about a refund and there are theft/fraud concerns I could not resolve. Great direct care from staff, but I'd recommend confirming billing/refund policies and watching management closely.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is strongly positive about the direct care residents receive. Multiple reviewers emphasize excellent, attentive nursing and caregiving — citing that staff are professional, dependable, caring, and go above and beyond. Specific, concrete examples reinforce this pattern: residents are kept clean and dry, clothing is laundered, hair is combed, nails are painted, and staff pay attention to individual needs. Several reviewers explicitly call the care "incredible" or "the best," and many recommend the facility, which indicates a consistent appreciation of frontline caregiving and clinical competence.

Clinical supports and daily operations are repeatedly praised. Reviewers note that the facility is clean and homey, contributing to a comfortable living atmosphere. The reported presence of an RN, a dietician, and a pharmacist assistant is mentioned as a distinct positive, and multiple comments highlight that dietary needs and special diets are accommodated. Respite stays are described as enjoyable, suggesting that short-term stays and transitions are handled well. The staff culture is described as enthusiastic and dedicated, with a supportive, respectful approach and a sense of resident advocacy — staff are portrayed as advocates who listen and act on resident needs.

Despite these strengths, several reviewers raise serious and recurrent concerns about the facility’s management and financial practices. There are explicit allegations of dishonesty and "shady behavior" by management, at least one report of an unreturned refund, and broader claims invoking fraud or theft. Some reviewers mention the possibility of litigation related to these issues. These concerns are substantive and stand in stark contrast to the otherwise uniformly positive descriptions of care provided by frontline staff. Additionally, reviewers note a change in management, which can signal either an attempt to address problems or further instability depending on outcomes.

Taken together, the reviews depict a facility that excels in hands-on resident care, daily living assistance, cleanliness, and clinical staffing, creating a warm and supportive environment for residents. However, there is a clear and significant cluster of negative comments focused on administrative and financial integrity that could materially affect trust for prospective residents and families. The pattern suggests a separation between high-quality caregiving delivered by staff and troubling issues in administrative leadership or business practices. Prospective residents and families should weigh the dependable, compassionate care and clinical resources against the flagged management risks, and consider asking direct questions about refunds, financial safeguards, recent management changes, and any ongoing disputes before making decisions.
