    Filthy facility, neglectful staff, exploitation

I lived here and I do not recommend it. The place was filthy - bed bugs, unfinished showers, bad food - and staff were neglectful and painfully slow to respond, even leaving residents without heat for days. Management is unprofessional now (previous manager was better), visitation was horribly restricted during COVID, and I felt there was potential exploitation.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is strongly negative, with recurring and serious concerns about cleanliness, pest control, basic utilities, staff responsiveness, and management. Multiple reviewers describe the facility as filthy and report a bed bug infestation. There are also reports that residents were left without heat for days, which indicates lapses in maintaining essential building systems and resident comfort. These problems are presented as ongoing and significant enough that several reviewers explicitly state they do not recommend the facility.

Care quality and resident safety are central themes in the complaints. Reviewers describe neglect by staff, slow responses when problems arise, and at least one mention of potential exploitation. An uncompleted shower repair is cited as an example of maintenance and care tasks not being finished, and combined with reports of pest infestation and poor cleanliness, these comments suggest systemic issues affecting daily living conditions and hygiene. The references to COVID and restricted visitation indicate the facility has implemented or experienced visitation limitations, which reviewers list alongside other negative experiences rather than as a protective or positive measure.

Staff and management issues are also prominent. Several reviews call out an unprofessional current manager, while noting that a previous manager had been regarded positively. This contrast suggests a change in leadership coincided with worsening conditions in the eyes of reviewers. Complaints about staff neglect and slow response times further underscore operational and supervisory problems that affect resident care and the ability to resolve urgent maintenance or health-related issues.

Facilities and housekeeping receive particularly harsh criticism. Terms like "horrible" and "filthy" are used repeatedly, and the bed bug reports constitute a severe sanitation and health concern. The combination of pest problems, incomplete repairs (such as the shower), and periods without heat point to failures in routine maintenance, pest control, and environmental safety protocols.

Dining and daily living services are also criticized, with reviewers noting that the food is bad. While there is less detail about activities or programming in the provided summaries, the overall picture of neglect, poor cleanliness, and inadequate responsiveness suggests that enrichment and activity programs—if present—are not sufficient to offset other negative experiences.

In summary, the reviews paint a picture of a facility experiencing multiple, overlapping problems: serious cleanliness and pest-control failures, lapses in essential services (heat), unsatisfactory dining, reports of staff neglect and slow responses, and management issues following a change in leadership. The only positive note mentioned is that a previous manager was viewed favorably, implying that some issues may be tied to recent managerial changes. Given the severity and repetition of these concerns in the reviews, they represent substantial red flags for prospective residents and families and warrant careful verification and follow-up before considering placement at this facility.
