    Excellent caring staff, highly recommended

I live here and receive excellent, caring care. Kelly (site manager) and Karla (assistant manager) are exceptional; Yolanda, Bea, and George assist me daily and Johnny's meals are delicious. The facilities and porch are nice, with friendly staff, weekly activities and a variety of entertainers-I'd like more outdoor space. I'm grateful and highly recommend this place.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the provided reviews is strongly positive, with multiple reviewers emphasizing the high quality of personal care and the kindness of staff. The phrase 'excellent care' appears repeatedly, and reviewers express gratitude for attentive, compassionate treatment. The overall tone is one of satisfaction and appreciation rather than criticism.

Staff performance is a central strength highlighted in the reviews. Several individual employees are named and praised: Kelly (site manager) is singled out for excellent care and leadership, Karla (assistant manager) receives mention for special attention, and Johnny is specifically recognized for preparing delicious meals. Caregivers such as Yolanda, Bea, and George are also identified as providing helpful assistance. These specific name mentions indicate that staff-client interactions are memorable and positive, and that both management and frontline caregivers are viewed as engaged and effective.

Care quality and resident treatment are consistently described as caring and respectful. Reviewers note 'nice treatment of seniors' and repeatedly call the staff caring, kind, and friendly. This suggests a culture of respectful, person-centered care. Expressions of gratitude and strong recommendations from multiple reviewers reinforce the perception that residents’ needs are being met and that families feel comfortable endorsing the home.

Facilities and physical environment are viewed positively overall; reviewers describe the facility as 'nice' and mention a pleasant porch area. However, the most consistent and only notable concern raised in these summaries is a desire for more outdoor space. While the porch is appreciated, at least one reviewer explicitly asked for expanded outdoor areas, indicating that access to larger or more varied outdoor amenities could improve the resident experience.

Dining and programming are clear strengths. Johnny’s meals are called 'delicious,' and reviewers repeatedly praise the food. Activities and entertainment receive frequent positive mention — reviewers cite a variety of entertainers and weekly activities, which suggests an active social calendar that contributes to resident engagement and satisfaction. The combination of good dining and regular programming supports a well-rounded daily life for residents.

Management and operational impressions are favorable. The naming of both the site manager and assistant manager in positive terms suggests visible and effective leadership. The presence of specific, appreciative comments about multiple employees (management and caregivers) points to consistent, team-wide performance rather than isolated instances of good service.

In summary, the reviews depict BeeHive Homes of Santa Fe NM as a facility with strong, compassionate staff, good leadership, enjoyable meals, engaging activities, and overall pleasant facilities. The primary and recurring area for improvement is outdoor space — reviewers would like more room or expanded outside areas. Otherwise, the home is frequently recommended and described as providing excellent care and a respectful, friendly environment for seniors.

About BeeHive Homes of Santa Fe NM

BeeHive Homes of Santa Fe, NM, offers assisted living and memory care services in a cozy, family-like setting with about 12 to 16 residents in each small home, and folks say the place feels much more like a regular house than a big institution. The facility has private bedrooms with their own ADA showers and bathrooms, which helps people keep their dignity and privacy, and every room also has cable TV, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and easy access for wheelchairs. The staff-they're fully trained, friendly, and always around-help residents with things like bathing, daily needs, getting dressed, managing medications, and making sure they're as independent as possible while still being safe and comfortable. There's staff on duty 24 hours and a pendant emergency call system in place for quick help anytime.

For folks with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia, BeeHive Homes provides specialized memory care in a secure, comfortable environment with locked courtyards and electronic security so those who tend to wander can still enjoy the outdoors safely, and their caregivers know how to help with the unique challenges that memory issues bring. The homes run structured activities-things like exercising, community meals in the open dining room, group outings, watching TV together, and Life Enrichment Activities-which keeps everyone's mind and body active, and the focus is always on building real relationships and making sure no one ever feels left out.

Meals are home-cooked every day, and a dietitian makes sure they're balanced for both taste and nutrition, and folks often eat together like a family in the main dining area. They offer respite services too, so if someone needs a short stay after surgery or if a caregiver needs a break, seniors can stay here for a little while and get all the same care and activities as longer-term residents. People with high needs, like those who need help with incontinence, diabetes care, or medication management, can get that help, and every resident gets a personalized plan that's reviewed and changed as their needs change over time.

Other comforts include daily housekeeping, laundry, fresh linens, and a smoke-free environment, along with pet-friendly policies, so dogs and cats can sometimes visit or stay. There's a large living room that works as a central gathering spot, outside courtyards to relax under the New Mexico sun, and easy parking and transportation options for residents who still get around town. BeeHive Homes has been doing this work for about 33 years and has over 200 locations in New Mexico, but the Santa Fe home stands out because it keeps everything small and focused on the kind of connections that make people feel truly at home, with each resident and their family involved in the care and daily decisions. Residents have their own space but also plenty of chances to be part of the community, with a feeling that everyone who lives and works there belongs to an extended family-one that values safety, independence, and peace of mind above all else.
