The staff offers 24-hour support for residents who need help with daily things like bathing, dressing, and taking medicine, along with scheduled laundry and cleaning. The community also provides licensed assisted living and enhanced assisted living for those needing more care, there's on-site podiatry and pedicure services, and skilled nursing for anyone who needs medical help, plus transitional or short stays if someone's recovering or if a caregiver just needs a break. Legacy at Grande'Vie has a Caring House Memory Care Community with specialized programs and activities for folks with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia, and they'll give individual attention and focus on keeping minds active. If someone is looking for adult day care, respite, or rehabilitation, those are available, too, and there are regular devotional services and social activities, with both indoor and outdoor options for entertainment and education to try to keep people's spirits up. The place is managed by Watermark Retirement Communities and has a connection with Legacy at Village Wood, which lets people stay on the same campus as their needs change, but lately the future of Legacy at Grande'Vie isn't certain because the building needs a lot of investment, and the community already told residents, families, and local officials about closing the facility, offering refunds to independent living residents who prepaid their rent, and helping everyone make the switch to new homes.
