    Resident loves staff, food, activities

I live here and I'm very happy. The staff - especially Wade - and management are caring, helpful and phenomenal; maintenance is prompt. The freshly remodeled rentals are very clean and secure, with controlled after-hours access and family visits allowed with masks. There are plenty of activities (video bowling, games, library, puzzles, veteran gifts program), it's social and retiree-friendly, and the food is very good.

Baptist Village Retirement Communities of Cleveland, OK sits on Baptist Village Drive and has been serving senior adults since 1958, making it the largest not-for-profit provider of senior services in Oklahoma, and it's all faith-based with a real commitment to quality care. They help seniors with different needs and have independent living, assisted living, memory care, home care, and even skilled nursing and rehabilitation services, so folks can move through levels of care as needed, and the whole place focuses on keeping life simple and enjoyable. The independent living side offers studio and one-bedroom apartments, all maintenance-free, with staff handling lawn work, repairs, and cleaning, and folks enjoy chef-prepared meals and access to dining services that keep nutrition in mind.

There are salons, wellness centers, learning centers, and plenty of life-enriching activities right in the neighborhood, and residents can spend time in arts and crafts, fitness areas, or take walks along the trails or work in the gardens, so there's always something to do, and they even plan scheduled trips and provide covered parking, plus chapel services on campus for spiritual needs. The community isn't a nursing home, so you won't find around-the-clock skilled nursing unless that level of care becomes necessary, but trained aides help those who just need a hand with daily life-things like bathing, dressing, or medication, and there's memory care for folks dealing with Alzheimer's or dementia, including specialized memory support neighborhoods and even a Snoezelen Room at specific locations for calming sensory therapy. Staff are trained to offer support and create a safe, structured place for those who get confused or wander, and the Entrusted Hearts agency provides home health services and medical equipment for people who want to keep their independence at home.

For residents needing extra help, there's always assisted living with personal care, meals, housekeeping, and laundry included, and those in memory care have staff who truly understand how to help gently and with patience, creating routines to ease anxiety. Active seniors can join in community events or sit in on learning workshops, and chapels and worship services are held on-site for anyone needing a bit of faith or reflection. The community gets praise for its staff, who are known for being friendly, helpful, and kind, which really sets the tone for a place where people feel welcome. Home health care is always available 24/7, and transportation for shopping or outings means residents don't have to worry about missing appointments or activities. Baptist Village Retirement Communities of Cleveland offers tailored support and a nurturing environment for adults aged 55 and older, giving seniors the freedom to stay active or get assistance as needs change, and the whole focus remains on respect, safety, and making daily life comfortable and meaningful.
