    Spotless community with exceptional care

I moved into this bright, new community and couldn't be happier. The staff are friendly, supportive, and provided a smooth move-in; care is exceptional and the facility is spotless. Meals from scratch are excellent, activities are varied (including Catholic devotionals, day trips and holiday events), and amenities like daily room cleaning, on-site laundry and transportation are included in simple pricing (hair salon extra). Safe, social, with mountain views and a very welcoming atmosphere.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is strongly positive. Multiple reviewers praised the facility’s physical environment — a newer building with bright rooms and mountain views — and consistently noted that the community is clean and well-cared-for. The presence of social rooms on each floor, on-site laundry, and daily room cleaning contribute to a sense of convenience and good housekeeping. Reviewers also called out the owners’ engagement and described the community as safe and welcoming during tours and move-in.

Care quality and staff performance are highlighted repeatedly. Reviewers describe staff as friendly, courteous, helpful, and supportive, with specific mentions that staff helped with smooth setup and encouraged residents’ social participation. Several comments point to exceptional care and to staff making residents feel included in community life. Transportation to doctor appointments and other supportive services being included in the monthly cost were viewed as practical benefits that reduce logistical stress for residents and families.

Dining is a clear strength: meals prepared from scratch and generally very good food were common praises. Holiday meals and communal observances (for example, Christmas prayer) were noted positively, adding to the community atmosphere around special occasions. The availability of an on-site hair salon was mentioned as convenient, although it is billed separately from monthly fees.

Activities receive mixed but generally favorable mentions. Reviewers appreciate the diversity of activities, day trips, and the presence of occasional entertainment. Staff often encourage participation and foster social interaction. However, a recurring theme is that activity coverage and the frequency of entertainment could be increased; some reviewers explicitly requested more robust activity programming. Another prominent pattern is the community’s religious orientation: several reviews identify the facility as Catholic-oriented or devotion-focused. For families and residents who value faith-based programming this is a positive; for others it may be a mismatch with expectations.

Management, pricing, and move-in logistics are reported positively. Multiple reviewers said the pricing structure is simple and easy to understand, with many services included in the monthly cost. The move-in and placement process is described as smooth, with staff presenting well during tours and being helpful in setup. The only consistent extra-charge item noted was the hair salon.

In summary, the Laurels Senior Living Community is viewed as a bright, clean, and well-managed facility with strong staffing, good food, and convenient services that are largely included in monthly fees. It offers social spaces, supportive staff, and a range of activities and outings, though activity frequency/coverage and entertainment could be improved. Potential residents and families should note the Catholic/religious orientation of programming to ensure it aligns with their preferences, and be aware that certain amenities (notably the hair salon) may carry additional fees.
