    Caring attentive staff; comfortable home

I'm very happy with At Home Luxury Living - the staff are experienced, caring and attentive, and my mom loves the food (much better than rehab). The single-family home is clean, open, airy and feels safe; her room is nice and spacious with a large bathroom. Caregivers are consistent, accommodating and knowledgeable (owner is an RN; LVN shared between houses; on-site night caregiver), though activities are limited in the small community. We needed a bit more furniture and a different bed for G and I monitor bed-sore prevention, but overall my mom is well cared for and I'm grateful they could take her before the 30-day notice expired.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews of At Home Luxury Living is strongly positive, with recurring praise for cleanliness, attentive caregiving, and a warm, home-like environment. Multiple reviews highlight that the facility is very clean, open and airy, and that rooms are spacious with large bathrooms. Reviewers repeatedly describe staff as friendly, welcoming, and experienced — using phrases such as “angels on earth” and noting that family members felt their loved ones were well cared for. Several family members specifically call out the owner’s clinical credentials (registered nurse) and the presence of LVN support and an on-site caregiver working night shifts, which contribute to families’ confidence in clinical oversight and safety, particularly for residents receiving end-of-life care.

Care quality and staff performance are among the strongest themes. Caregivers are described as attentive, accommodating, and consistent, with many families appreciating flexible, supportive management that is eager to learn and responsive to individual needs. The facility’s smaller scale appears to support more individualized attention — reviewers emphasize attentive, helpful staff and consistent caregivers who know the residents. There are multiple personal reports of satisfaction: residents liking the food (noted as better than rehab food), families seeing positive day-to-day interactions, and gratitude for compassionate end-of-life support.

The physical environment and amenities are frequently praised, with comments about a beautiful, clean, and safe single-family home atmosphere. Rooms are described as nice and spacious, and the home feels inviting and convenient. However, because the community is small and operates in a single-family model, social and activity programming is limited. Reviewers cite a need for more regular activities (music is mentioned as occasional) and note limited social opportunities — an important consideration for prospective residents who prioritize robust programming and frequent group activities.

A few practical concerns emerge from the reviews. Some families noted the need for additional furniture in certain rooms and were attentive to mattress/bed selection with respect to preventing bed sores, indicating that specialized equipment choices matter for some residents. Operationally, one review mentioned the LVN being shared between houses, which could suggest more limited clinical staffing coverage at times, even though oversight by an RN-owner and night shift coverage were also reported. Another logistical note raised was about room availability in relation to a 30-day notice period, implying potential timing or occupancy constraints that families should clarify. Finally, while the majority of comments are strongly positive, one reviewer said the home was “not an ideal fit” for their mom, reinforcing that the small, home-like model will suit some residents better than others.

In summary, At Home Luxury Living presents as a small, well-kept, and compassionate residential care option with strong, attentive staff and clinically experienced ownership. It is particularly well suited to families seeking a homelike environment, consistent caregivers, and hands-on, compassionate care (including end-of-life support). Prospective residents and families should balance these strengths against the limited scale of activities and social programming, potential furniture or equipment needs, and any clinical staffing or timing questions (LVN shared between houses; room availability tied to notice periods). For many reviewers, the positives — cleanliness, individualized attention, experienced staff, and a warm environment — outweigh the limitations, but suitability will depend on the level of social programming and clinical/equipment needs of the individual resident.
