    Kind professional staff; spotless rooms

I'm very pleased with our stay - the nurses, CNAs, wound care and therapy teams (Kristin, Shannon, Melissa, Mesha, Liz and others) were kind, professional and went above and beyond; rooms were spotless, activities engaging, and my mom recovered quickly. Management was responsive and hands-on, so I'd recommend this facility for rehab or long-term care.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Feedback for this facility is highly mixed. Many families and short-stay patients describe a visible leadership presence, dedicated therapy and wound-care clinicians, and strong interpersonal connections with specific nurses and aides. At the same time, a substantial number of accounts point to operational inconsistencies that affect day-to-day resident experience and clinical reliability.

Care quality: Clinical strengths include a robust rehabilitation program (PT/OT) and specific clinical staff (wound-care nurses, certain RNs and CNAs) who are repeatedly highlighted for positive outcomes. Positive short-term rehabilitations and timely care-plan updates are reported. Counterbalancing that are recurring concerns about medication-administration practices (missed or delayed doses and inconsistent timing), delayed respiratory or emergency responses in some instances, and variability in overall nursing reliability. Several reviewers indicated that care quality improves or deteriorates depending on shift and individual staff on duty.

Staff and management: Many reviewers commend compassionate, engaged aides and therapists and praise visible administrative leadership that performs daily rounds and addresses concerns. There are also repeated comments about variable staff conduct โ€” including poor communication tone, apparent inattentiveness, cell-phone use during shifts, and frequent turnover. Management perception is split: some families report active, decisive leadership and measurable improvements under current administrators; others cite revolving leadership, billing issues, and unreturned calls. Front-desk and voicemail responsiveness emerged as a common operational weakness.

Dining and daily living services: Reports on meals are inconsistent. Some families praise the food and dining support; others describe missed meals, small portions, and interruptions to meal service. Personal-care and hygiene routines are another area of variability: there are accounts of inconsistent bathing schedules and delays assisting residents with toileting and other activities of daily living, which appear more pronounced on nights and weekends.

Activities and environment: The facilityโ€™s physical plant and grounds are often described as attractive and modern, and activity programming (bingo, seasonal events, crafts) receives positive remarks. Maintenance and EVS staff are sometimes singled out for helpfulness. However, interior sanitation and odor concerns are reported in some units, indicating uneven execution of housekeeping and infection-control practices across the building.

Safety, privacy, and administrative issues: Reviews raise operational safety and privacy questions, including concerns about transfer procedures, emergency response timeliness, and medical-record handling. There are isolated but serious allegations of staff misconduct and potential theft; given the gravity of those claims, prospective families should seek documentation and follow up with regulatory channels as appropriate. Billing inconsistencies and unexplained charges have also been reported, suggesting a need for careful review of admission paperwork and invoicing.

Notable patterns and guidance: The most consistent theme is variability โ€” many positive experiences are strongly tied to particular staff members and daytime shifts, while negative experiences cluster around nights, weekends, and during management transitions. Prospective residents and families may benefit from observing staff interactions across multiple shifts, asking specific questions about staffing ratios, medication-administration protocols, hygiene routines, emergency procedures, privacy safeguards, and billing policies, and requesting references from recent short-stay rehab patients. The facility shows capability in rehabilitation and compassionate care by specific team members, but operational reliability appears uneven and warrants careful evaluation prior to placement.

People can dine anytime from the restaurant-style dining room, and meals are made by a chef to suit most dietary needs, so those with diabetes or allergies won't have to worry. Housekeeping, laundry, and dry cleaning are all handled by staff, and transportation and move-in coordination are there to help new arrivals settle in. There's guest parking for visitors, a library for quiet reading, and Wi-Fi throughout for those who like the Internet. Medicaid and Medicare are accepted, so there's flexibility for payment, and the community's part of a bigger health system, bringing a reputation for good elder care and safety standards, and the facility is both licensed and accredited.

It's a for-profit partnership that hasn't changed ownership in the past year. Security features like sprinkler systems and round-the-clock supervision help residents feel safe.
