    Spotless caring affordable home-like community

I live here and I'm very happy. The building is older but spotless and well-maintained, staff are kind, attentive and long-tenured, and the care and morale have really improved. Meals are excellent (three a day), laundry and activities are provided, and it feels like a loving, affordable, home-like environment - I highly recommend you schedule a tour.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is strongly positive. Reviewers repeatedly highlight the supportive, family-style atmosphere and the friendliness of staff and residents. The community is described as welcoming and home-like, with visitors receiving good tours and orientation. Multiple comments note that residents are happy, morale has improved, and the facility is highly recommended, painting a consistent picture of satisfaction among both residents and their families.

Care quality and staff performance are prominent themes. Reviews emphasize attentive, kind, and caring staff members, with several mentions of long-tenured employees. This combination of compassion and staff continuity suggests reliable day-to-day care and strong resident–staff relationships. Phrases like "attentive staff," "kind and attentive," and "caring" recur, indicating that personal care and interpersonal interactions are standout strengths.

Facilities and maintenance receive largely positive remarks. The community is described as very clean and well-maintained, contributing to the home-like feel. The primary reservation noted is that the building is older; however, reviewers explicitly state the older facilities are well-kept. That nuance suggests the aesthetic or age of the physical plant may not match newer developments, but upkeep and cleanliness mitigate many practical concerns.

Dining and services are also favorable. Multiple reviews note three meals a day and praise the quality of the food, with one comment explicitly mentioning "improved food." Ancillary services such as laundry are provided, and reviewers use terms like "excellent meals" and "meals provided (3 meals a day)," indicating consistent and satisfactory dining operations.

Social life and resident well-being are other recurring positives. The community is described as socially engaging, with a family or loving environment that supports morale improvement. Reviewers cite a social environment and friendly residents, implying regular social interaction and a sense of community that benefits resident quality of life.

Affordability and recommendations complete the overall picture. Reviewers call the community "affordable" and "highly recommended," and the repeated invitations to tour reinforce an open, welcoming admissions approach. Management is not directly critiqued in the summaries, and the mention of long-tenured staff may indirectly indicate operational stability.

In summary, the reviews portray Community Retirement Home as a clean, well-maintained, and affordable option with a warm, family-oriented culture, attentive long-standing staff, good meals and essential services like laundry, and an active social environment that improves resident morale. The main caveat is the age of the physical facilities; while older, they are consistently described as being kept in good condition. Overall, reviewers strongly endorse the community and encourage tours, reflecting high satisfaction across multiple dimensions of senior living service and care.
