    Caring personalized immaculate assisted living

I'm very pleased with Beverly Assisted Living - Allen and the team are caring, attentive, and really know each resident. It's a small, home-like, immaculate house with bright private rooms, engaging activities, nutritious meals/snacks, and visible owner involvement that gave our family real peace of mind. The transition was smooth, care is personalized and professional, and I highly recommend them.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: The facility is described as a small, home-like assisted living option with a consistent emphasis on personalized, compassionate caregiving. Reviews emphasize attentive, respectful interactions between staff and residents, and many families stated that residents experienced improved wellbeing under the facility’s care. The setting is presented as clean, modern, and welcoming, with an owner-operated structure that fosters direct responsiveness and a personal atmosphere.

Care and staff: Care quality is the most frequently cited strength. Staff are characterized as caring, knowledgeable, and quick to assist; many reviewers highlighted 24/7 on-site supervision and individualized attention to daily needs. Families also described coordinated care during transitions and end-of-life situations, noting positive hospice interactions. The small scale appears to encourage close staff–resident relationships and personalized care plans rather than a task-focused approach.

Dining and daily life: Dining is frequently mentioned as another advantage. The facility offers personalized meals that include familiar foods, set mealtimes, and multiple snack opportunities during the day. Reviewers described the food as nutritious and above average for the setting. Details about structured activity programming are limited in the reviews; the emphasis is more on individualized attention, social interaction within a small resident community, and staff-driven engagement rather than large-group recreational offerings.

Facilities and management: The physical environment is described as clean, new or recently updated, and comfortably furnished, often noting pleasant grounds and spacious rooms. The owner/management is portrayed as accessible and accommodating, reinforcing a small-business culture where management is directly involved in resident care. Licensing and regulation are noted, and many reviewers viewed the facility as a cost-effective alternative to larger institutional options.

Notable patterns and trade-offs: The dominant pattern is strong, relationship-based caregiving in a small, well-maintained residence. Potential trade-offs inferred from the small scale include limited capacity, fewer formal activity or amenity offerings compared with larger facilities, and possible constraints on delivering highly specialized clinical services. Reviewers praised staffing quality, but the lean, owner-driven model may offer less redundancy than larger operations — something families should consider if a resident’s needs are likely to escalate or require specialized medical care.

Recommendation guidance: For families seeking a personal, home-like assisted living environment with attentive staff, predictable meals, and engaged ownership, this facility aligns well with those priorities. Prospective residents and families who require a broader range of clinical specialties, extensive activity programming, or larger social communities should evaluate whether the facility’s small-scale model matches their long-term needs and verify staffing and clinical supports for more complex care scenarios.

    About Beverly Assisted Living

Beverly Assisted Living sits at 3408 Beverly Dr in Annandale, VA, and people know it for its careful and detailed care, often going above what you'd expect from an assisted living place, and many families find comfort in that because sometimes you just want staff who really pay attention, and here, with only a small number of residents, the workers can get to know each person, see what they need each day, and make changes quickly-especially when health gets worse over time, since they also serve pureed meals for people who have trouble eating or swallowing. The building feels clean and new and includes private rooms with their own bathrooms, which is helpful for comfort and privacy, and everything's on one floor, which makes it easier for people who use wheelchairs or have trouble walking.

The staff give help with meals, daily activities, walking, and personal care like washing up, and you'll see that people always get their medication managed, plus there's help for diabetes, incontinence, and non-ambulatory care, and when someone's really sick, even with hospice needs, they've got caring workers around. Meals come at set times, but snacks are also brought out several times a day, with low or no sodium options, room service for meals, and even no sugar dishes when someone needs that. They make an effort with meaningful activities, using arts and crafts, social groups, games, and even education, so seniors aren't just sitting around-if you feel up to going, there's always something to do to keep the mind working and the days fuller, and families say this helps people stay cheerful.

The place is cozy and home-like on purpose, where the staff treat residents like part of the family, making sure to value independence, privacy, and each person's dignity, and the building includes things like a central fireplace, a salon for haircuts, a fitness center, a library, outdoor sitting spots, and common rooms for activities, and there's always someone around for whatever comes up, without tacking on surprise fees for meals or extra care. Some rooms have kitchens or kitchenettes, and you'll find washers and dryers, cable TV, and WiFi for when someone wants a quiet evening or to keep in touch with family online. Safety's a focus too, with wheelchair showers, sprinklers, and good lighting, plus an accessible van for taking residents out for trips or appointments.

They do board and care and respite stays for short-term relief, which helps families take a break when they need it, and there's always an effort to work with family and doctors on care plans so health needs don't slip through the cracks. Beverly Assisted Living uses unique terms for their care programs, aims to make life easy and pleasant for seniors, and keeps a top rating with families and residents, who mention how it's a warm place where everyone tries to help people feel comfortable, respected, and at home.
