Lake Manassas Health and Rehabilitation Center sits a few miles off I-66 in Gainesville, close to Lake Manassas, and offers care for people who need short-term recovery or long-term stays, and this center has 120 licensed beds and provides services for folks coming out of surgeries like knee or hip replacements, recovering from strokes, heart attacks, falls, or illnesses related to breathing, along with those who need ongoing care because they can't live by themselves anymore. The facility runs under Medical Services of America and has staff like physicians, nurses, certified nursing assistants, physical and occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, and others, making sure the care folks get comes from people who aren't contractors but are part of the center itself, and both Ms. Beverly Greene and Christina Wiley have roles as administrators. Residents and patients get care in comfortable rooms with bathrooms equipped for easy access to showers or tubs, and the center is completely wheelchair accessible and air conditioned, which helps keep everyone comfortable and safe. The staff stays on-site 24/7 to help with meals, cleaning, and anything else folks need. The place's large gym has new therapy technology like strength trainers, a dynamic stair trainer, Alter-G and Woodway treadmills, Cyber Cycles, a Rifton sit-to-stand device, Jintronix, a HUR iBalance machine, and this space is used by specialists helping people regain strength and mobility, often with therapy done up to seven days a week, two or three hours each day, depending on recovery plans. Recovery and progress are tracked using unique tools like the Recovery Map™ and Personal Report Card™, which can help residents and staff see how things are going. Amenities include a restaurant-style dining room where chefs and a dietitian help prepare meals, and there's also an Activities Director who sets up on-site programs, giving people chances to socialize and stay active. The center uses the LifeWorks Rehab® program as its main approach for clinical recovery, offering private and semi-private daily room rates for those who stay. With over 50 years of experience in long-term care and 116.6 full-time staff, the Lake Manassas Health and Rehabilitation Center maintains a culture where care comes with personal attention, and the facility provides health and nursing care for those who require it, making the place a choice for anyone looking for rehabilitation and long-term care options in a comfortable environment.

Excellent therapy, inconsistent daily care
I had a mixed stay. The building and rehab gym are top-notch and many nurses, therapists and social-work/case managers were compassionate, knowledgeable, and got my loved one moving again quickly. That said, staffing was inconsistent - slow/absent aides, unanswered call buttons, hygiene and medication/food lapses, and cold/bland meals were recurring problems. Overall: excellent therapy and many caring staff, but expect to advocate constantly and watch for care/cleanliness issues.
