      Compassionate consistent care clean facility

I've had my mom here over five years and am very satisfied. The compassionate, consistent staff and the knowledgeable, hands-on nurse-owner go above and beyond; communication and health updates are clear and timely. The home is clean, secure and beautifully laid out, with plentiful engaging activities, excellent home-cooked meals, and reasonable pricing - I highly recommend this assisted living.

About North Ranch Assisted Living LLC

North Ranch Assisted Living LLC operates as a residential care home in Scottsdale, licensed for up to 10 seniors who want a smaller setting and more personal attention, and you'll find that folks often mention the warm, home-like feeling here, which comes from the way the staff focus on kindness, comfort, and treating everyone as family, so most people say they get to know you and do their best to meet what you need day by day. The home offers both assisted living and memory care, and there are trained caregivers and nurses around at all hours, doing things like helping with bathing, dressing, transfers, medicine reminders, and other everyday needs, and if someone needs special services like hospice or respite care, they can handle that too, and they've even got support for colostomy, catheter care, and insulin if needed. North Ranch helps seniors keep as much independence as possible, but they're there to step in for grocery trips, doctor visits, or just to lend a hand going to an activity or out for a walk, often handling transportation and parking so families don't have to worry.

Language shouldn't be a problem since the community offers services in English, Spanish, and Romanian, which can comfort people who feel more at home in one of those languages. The meals come three times a day, and if someone needs a special diet-diabetes, kosher, vegan, gluten-free, or anything else-they'll do their best to serve it, even paying attention to birthdays and holidays by making those meals extra special. There's a communal dining room, but if someone prefers their own space, North Ranch has private or semi-private wheelchair-accessible rooms with features like air conditioning, cable TV, phone service, and private baths.

The place is pet-friendly, so cats and dogs can live here, and there are special pet-focused programs and even time for animal therapy and play. People who enjoy being outside will find walking paths, yard space, gardens, and sometimes even BBQs, plus both indoor and outdoor common areas for relaxing-including a central fireplace if you want to read or talk with visitors. There's a swimming pool, theater room, arts and crafts center, and plenty of scheduled activities like morning exercises, Wii bowling, board games, yoga, gardening, and walks to the park, as well as music and craft sessions, live music, karaoke, and outings for lifelong learning. For those who value their faith, North Ranch brings in visiting chaplains, priests, and rabbis, and they can help set up devotional activities both on and off-site, covering several traditions.

All-day dining is available, and someone can dine when they want in the restaurant-style setting, with snacks to hold them over if lunch ran a little short. The community has its own beautician, plus they'll set up housekeeping, laundry, and even dry cleaning, which can be a real relief for people who want to focus their energy elsewhere. Residents get internet throughout the property, and there's an emergency alert system to give some peace of mind if there's an accident or a sudden health need. Recreational spaces include a library, reading room, patio, and spa or steam room, depending on what folks want to do that day.

Families and residents say the staff are available, attentive, and keep everyone updated, which is part of the reason the place holds a consistent 5.0 rating after many reviews on SeniorAdvisor.com-though it's important to look closely yourself to see if it's the right fit, since what's best for one person may not work for another. Pricing starts at $3,000 per month, but the actual cost depends on the care level and room choice, so it varies based on individual needs. North Ranch offers move-in help, personalized care plans, and tries to accommodate as many requests as possible, but everything is focused on a calm, safe, and supportive space for seniors who need a little more help to enjoy each day.
