    Warm staff, clean, safe, recommended

I live here and overall I'm very happy - staff are warm, know residents by name, the place is clean and safe, the food is excellent, and there are plenty of activities and convenient amenities. Maintenance is usually responsive and the location is great for shopping/errands. My only caveats: recent management changes have caused some service/maintenance slipups (parking/plowing, tree/pest issues) and there's no 24/7 nursing, so it's best for fairly independent seniors. Highly recommend.

About The Addison of Willow Pond

The Addison of Willow Pond sits on pretty grounds with trees and well-kept landscaping, and when you walk up to the brick and tan building, you see a welcoming walkway and a homey feel that carries inside. There's a team of healthcare staff always around, 24/7, offering help in assisted living, independent living, memory care, and short-term stays, so folks get the right amount of care if they need support with daily tasks or simply want a maintenance-free life. Apartments come in open-concept styles, with full kitchens, dining areas, big windows for lots of natural light, and private patios or balconies for some fresh air and outdoor relaxation; all the bathrooms have safety rails, and homes are decorated with little touches like white vanities and artwork for comfort. You'll find pets are welcome here, and utilities get included in the service, so living feels easier and a bit like home.

If someone enjoys getting out or socializing, there's a café, bistro, and bar with coffee, tea, and even happy hour, plus a grand restaurant-style dining room with chef-prepared meals, rotating menus, and private dining spots if you want something quieter. The place keeps things lively with a movie theater-plush chairs, big screen, popcorn included-and an arts and crafts studio with proper supplies for painting. Other spots like the library, lounges with fireplaces, and game rooms with billiards and card tables mean folks can gather, read, or watch the fire. For anything extra like errands, there's grocery delivery, on-site mail help, and a concierge approach that gets things done without fuss.

Fitness and wellness stay a focus with a gym, walking paths, dance classes, and even therapy options on-site-physical, occupational, or speech if anyone needs them-and there are always programs going: music, hobby clubs, book clubs, language, games, writing workshops, and brain health programs, all aimed at keeping people sharp and social. The staff keeps housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance regular and easy to request if needed, and both transportation for excursions and scheduled rides for appointments are available. Gardening space, enclosed courtyards, and peaceful patios give residents outdoor options, and big windows or garden walkouts make it feel open and bright.

Every week, plenty of events and gatherings take place, and folks can always find their own way to relax or spend time with friends. The Addison of Willow Pond helps with veteran's benefits, moving support, and always tries to match services to what each person really needs, aiming for a caring, welcoming spot to call home, where getting older feels a bit easier, a lot safer, and you can still find new things to do and friends to meet.
