    About Deupree House

Deupree House offers older adults options for independent living, assisted living, long-term care, and memory support, all on one campus with a person-centered approach, and there's always a nurse on site, a 24-hour emergency response system, and staff that can assist with medication, bathing, dressing, or other daily needs, plus a monthly support group for caregivers right on campus. Residents pick from cozy apartments, cottages, or private rooms, with choices in one-, two-, or three-bedroom units, all coming with fully-equipped kitchens, private bathrooms, and utilities included except cable and phone, and there's a heated underground garage, carports, and guest parking spots, plus the ability to have some pets and overnight guests if needed. Dining comes in many forms, with a chef preparing fine meals six nights a week in an elegant dining room with restaurant-style menus and wine, a more casual meal at Grille 39, continental breakfast in the Sunrise Café, and private dining rooms for special occasions, with staff meeting special dietary needs; residents can also use Swipe 'N' Dine or enjoy Deupree Meals on Wheels. Folks keep busy with a full calendar of wellness classes, yoga, water exercise in a warm indoor pool, educational seminars, gardening plots, arts and crafts, game and movie nights, musical groups, and offsite outings, and the library and chapel are always open for quiet time or spiritual services run by the chaplain, including a Parish Health Ministry. The Fitness Zone has trained staff to help with exercise or rehabilitation, and there's a beauty salon for haircuts and personal care, while housekeeping, laundry, dry cleaning, maintenance, lawn care, and snow removal get handled for you, and you can arrange transportation for outings or doctor appointments for an extra fee. There are meeting rooms, a computer area, book clubs, cooking clubs, outdoor patios, walking paths, and both community and individual gardens surrounded by carefully tended lawns and flowers, with a courtyard to enjoy. Deupree Cottages use a household model with private rooms and an emphasis on autonomy and dignity, offering skilled nursing or enriched living services, and the Center for Memory Support & Inclusion provides dedicated memory care with freedom, choice, and open living areas, along with support for those with Alzheimer's or dementia, specialized therapies, and community outreach. Households can access room service, furnished or semi-private apartments, housekeeping, mental health and physical therapy, and choices for short-term stays, all under the umbrella of ERS (Episcopal Retirement Services). Residents won't be asked to move for financial reasons. The facility has safety in mind with security, emergency alerts, secured grounds, and supervised care 24/7, and families appreciate that Deupree House offers a spectrum of affordable and flexible care with simple comforts and modern conveniences, always focusing on respect and individual needs as people age.
