    About Presbyterian Village North

Presbyterian Village North is a non-profit senior living community in Dallas that sits on a 66-acre campus with gardens, walking paths, water features, and even a large fenced dog park which many residents enjoy on a daily basis, and you'll notice there's a central park area, and putting green for a little fun outdoors, plus patios and small garden spaces outside of patio homes and executive homes-they've got all these different living options like independent living single family homes and apartments, duplexes, garden apartments, Martins Landing, The Oaks, The Villas, The Hawthorne, as well as custom and executive homes, which gives folks a good amount of choice if they want something quiet or community oriented. The memory care community feels calm and welcoming with landscaped walking paths, a pond, and nice bright spaces, and you come into the memory support section and there's a fireplace, natural light, and a view where you might catch a reflection of the building in the water, which people say brings a sense of calm, and then you'll see that even the café has modern touches with stainless steel appliances and there's a fitness center with treadmills, equipment, and bright windows so people can exercise safely. Presbyterian Village North offers different levels of care, including independent living, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing, short-stay rehab, transitional rehab, adult day care, home health care, hospice, and certified dementia services with a focus on safety, since there's 24/7 emergency call systems, and the entrance is gated with security, which helps families know their loved ones are safe, and the on-campus pharmacy is there if folks need quick access to medicines without leaving the community grounds. Assisted living services start at $3,000 to $5,000 per month and some of these apartments are private and include personal licensed nursing care, and when residents need more, there's skilled nursing and rehabilitation right on the campus, so they don't have to move far if their needs change. Amenities include a covered entryway with stone pillars and wood accents, a circular drive, spacious reception area, library with natural light, living moss wall, beauty and barber services, fitness and wellness center, chaplains on staff with weekly worship services, common areas with fireplaces and comfortable seating, outdoor courtyards, dining inspired by different flavors and a senior-focused fitness program with group classes. The community provides support for seniors through full-time social workers, healthcare professional resources, hospice, case manager luncheons, webinars, ministry guides, dementia-friendly resources, and disaster recovery tools. There are plenty of activities, including social events and classes for the mind, body, and soul, and residents often enjoy time together in shared areas or outdoors by the water fountains and gardens, and some say you'll see American flags waving along the main paths or the reflection of the building in the pond. Presbyterian Village North is associated with the Presbyterian Association of Homes and Services for the Aging and aims to support a safe, engaging, and comfortable lifestyle as people age, with a wide array of choices to meet changing needs, and a community that values respect and companionship.
