    About Creekside Village

Creekside Village is a senior living community designed so people can age in place with a range of care, which means you can move in when you're independent, and if you need more help over time they'll provide assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation, and you don't have to move somewhere else, since everything's here together, and the campus sits on several acres with single-story buildings, nice gardens and gazebos, paths and greenhouses, and pretty views. They have cottages, bungalows, apartments, and studios, with one or two bedrooms, lots of storage, kitchens with appliances, private balconies, washer and dryer units, private parking, and some units have bathrooms with showers and premium finishes, and you get to choose from a bunch of layout options, anywhere from 230 to 355 square feet in the apartments, plus all the regular utilities like cable TV, WiFi, phone hookups, and individual climate control.

Creekside Village offers chef-prepared meals three times a day in their community dining hall, has a separate restaurant-style dining area, and keeps snacks or meals available all day, focusing on American food, and they'll work with dietary needs, so whether you need diabetic meals, vegetarian, low salt, kosher, or any other kind of special diet, they'll handle that, and meals are planned by nutritionists to taste good and help keep you healthy. There's linen and towel service, house cleaning, trash removal, laundry, and general upkeep done for you, plus you can get help with home repairs or modifications if you need it over the years, which helps if you want to stay put as you age. Guests can come visit with overnight stay options and there's plenty of guest parking, which makes it easy for family or friends to stop in.

The campus has plenty of things to do, so if you like arts and crafts, music rooms, movie nights, or social games, or want to join fitness classes, walk on the outdoor trails, swim in the pool, or even try golf, they've got that, plus classrooms for lectures and learning sessions, and organized trips out, like shopping, shows, or events. People who like gardening can join in the raised beds and greenhouse activities, and there's always a packed calendar with holiday celebrations, live music, games, and educational events to keep you busy if that's your thing. The facility's pet-friendly but owners have to take care of their pets, and visitors can bring pets, too.

They've got a wellness center right on-site, and health care staff, including nurses and medical providers, check in on residents and help with health monitoring, medication reminders, and support with chronic condition management. They offer therapies like physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and people recovering from surgeries such as hip replacements get rehab services without leaving the property. There's hospice support, pharmacy access, in-home care options, and a personal emergency alert system, plus wellness checks and assistance if you need someone to go with you to appointments, run errands, or even travel.

Safety runs throughout the place with trained staff around the clock, controlled access doors, emergency call buttons in rooms, fall prevention programs, onsite security, safety checks, and safety deposit boxes. They offer accessible apartments and common areas, transfer assistance, wheelchair access everywhere, and transportation for errands or appointments, whether general or medical, as part of daily services.

Creekside Village includes meeting spaces and an on-site spiritual center if people want to go to religious services, plus they have spiritual care staff anyone can talk to, and several houses of worship are nearby. There's an on-site beauty shop, parking spaces, and mailboxes, plus every building has lots of common sitting areas with fireplaces and gathering spots.

The staff is trained to help with aging and mobility, chronic illness, mental health, and specific needs like cardiac care, always aiming for a gentle, respectful approach. People set up personalized care plans depending on their needs, so if you move in for independent living and later need assisted living, memory support, personal care, nursing, or therapy, that's all available under one roof. They run under a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) license and comply with current state regulations, and you pay an entry fee, starting at $1,000, with other payment and buy-in options, including rent that covers most day-to-day services, and they take long-term care insurance and private pay. Prospective residents and their families can come by for a structured tour anytime to see daily life, meals, and activities firsthand.

Creekside Village sits in Hagerstown with two campuses, Creekside Village and The Residences at Creekside, both close to Interstates 81 and 70. The environment encourages independence, social activity, and wellness in all stages of aging, offering comfort, health management, and a caring team who takes pride in helping residents have choices on how they spend their days.
