    Beautiful facility, inconsistent management tradeoffs

I live here - the facility is beautiful, new and very clean with roomy apartments, big kitchens, in-unit W/D, a nice patio, friendly staff and residents, and lots of activities and amenities (pool, gym, library, game room). However, management follow-through is inconsistent: promised open swimming and a yard walkway never materialized, pool hours and strict rules (grandchildren under 18 largely barred) are frustrating, and pet policies keep changing. I've seen flooding, unfinished repairs, standing water in carports, broken gates and frequent dog noise/odors - safety and maintenance are real concerns; guest parking and deliveries can be difficult and it's expensive. Overall it's a warm, active community I'd recommend for active seniors who value amenities, but only if you're comfortable with the management/maintenance tradeoffs.
