    Warm community with excellent amenities

I moved in a few months ago and love it - the staff are warm, attentive, and quick to help, residents are friendly, and the community hums with activities (restaurant/bar, gym, theater, classes and outings). The chef-prepared meals are excellent, apartments are bright, spacious and clean, and housekeeping, transportation and wellness services make life easy. Costs can be high and garages/storage are limited, and staffing can be stretched at times, but overall it feels like home and I happily recommend it.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews of Revel Spokane is strongly positive, with an overwhelming emphasis on the quality and warmth of the staff, the food, and the breadth of amenities and social programming. Reviewers repeatedly describe staff as friendly, caring, attentive, quick to respond, and willing to assist with personalization and small tasks (hanging pictures, helping with transitions). Multiple accounts praise specific staff actions — from post-surgical recovery support to timely maintenance — and many reviews credit the staff and management team with creating a welcoming, family-like environment that makes residents feel seen and supported. Tours and sales interactions are frequently called out as thorough and genuine, with admissions staff remembered by name and described as making people comfortable during the move-in process.

Facilities and apartments receive consistent praise for being bright, modern, and well-maintained. Residents highlight private, airy apartments (including attractive two-bedroom and one-bedroom options), in-unit laundry in many cases, balconies and good views, and the ability to personalize units by decorating or painting. The building layout and decor are often described as high-end or resort-style, with reviewers noting clean common areas, nicely maintained grounds, ample parking, and an overall upscale feel. Many amenities are listed repeatedly: a state-of-the-art gym, movie theater, salon, wellness/therapy rooms, art studio, card and reading rooms, and a pub/snack bar. On-site physical and occupational therapy, hair and nail services, and rehab support are mentioned as valuable conveniences that support independence and recovery.

Dining is a standout theme. The community offers restaurant-style dining with chef-prepared meals, daily specials, monthly menu rotations, and a flexible approach to meal service (breakfast available, dining room open much of the day, and a bar/restaurant serving later than typical communities). Reviewers highlight the quality and variety of food, dietary accommodations, a monthly food allowance in some plans, and the social draw of communal dining, happy hours, and special evenings (live bands, dancing). While most feedback about food is highly positive — with several enthusiastic mentions of particular menu items — a few reviewers mention limited or repetitive menu choices as a minor drawback.

Social life and activities are robust and described as a major reason residents are happy at Revel Spokane. The community supports numerous daily activities, resident-led clubs, excursions (local restaurants, breweries, scenic day trips), nightly movies with popcorn, fitness classes, art and sewing groups, book clubs, and special events like No-Li brewery nights or even adventurous outings. Residents report that the social atmosphere fosters friendships and reduces feelings of isolation; many say they ‘‘fell in love’’ with the community and feel more engaged and youthful. At the same time, a recurring caveat is that some activities have been paused or canceled at times — reviewers attribute this primarily to COVID-related restrictions or low participation for certain offerings.

Management and operations are generally seen positively: many reviews compliment good communication, organized activities, helpful management, and a well-coordinated staff. However, there are a number of recurring operational concerns to note. Several reviewers report staff turnover and moments when the team felt stretched thin, with some explicit mentions of understaffing or COVID-related staffing losses. A small subset of reviews raises more serious management issues — contract breaches, resource and housekeeping problems, and difficulty with lease termination — though these appear to be isolated compared with the dominant positive narrative. Construction on the building and the absence of on-site garages or storage are practical concerns raised by some prospective or current residents. Cost is another consistent caution: while many reviewers feel the value is appropriate for the services provided, others flag the price and annual increases as something to watch.

Patterns and balance: taken together, the reviews depict Revel Spokane as a high-quality independent living community that excels at hospitality, nutritious dining, rich amenities, and social programming that helps residents thrive. The most prominent strengths are the caring, responsive staff; excellent food and dining options; a wide array of on-site amenities; and a lively, social resident culture. The main weaknesses or risks are cost, occasional staff turnover/understaffing, the potential for activity interruptions (COVID or participation), limited vehicle/storage options, and a few isolated but notable management or contract concerns. Prospective residents should weigh the strong, consistent praise for day-to-day life and community spirit against those operational considerations, and ask specific questions in tours about staffing stability, contract terms, storage/parking options, activity calendars, and any ongoing construction or future cost increases to get the most accurate, individualized assessment.
