    About Westminster Manor

Westminster Manor has a mix of living options for seniors because you'll find independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and continuing care retirement community services all on the same campus, and people can bring their cats or dogs, which makes things feel a little more like home. Residents have one- or two-bedroom private apartments with full kitchens and bathrooms designed with things like wheelchair-accessible showers, bath tubs, and safety features, some with garden views, ground floor units, private patios, decks, or balconies, and the whole place has Wi-Fi and cable TV so people can stay connected and entertained without having to fuss. The on-campus health care center offers 24-hour health care services, medication management, incontinence care, non-ambulatory care, and high acuity care, plus there's short-term rehabilitation if someone needs it after an illness or surgery. The staff gives help with activities of daily living for folks in assisted living and there are special communities for people living with Alzheimer's or other types of dementia, and skilled nurses take care of residents who need a higher level of medical attention, all in the same community. Westminster Manor pays attention to meals and dining by offering restaurant-style dining, anytime dining, room service, and menus with gluten-free, kosher, vegetarian, vegan, low/no sodium, no-sugar, and organic options, and there's special dining programs, so even people with special diets can find something. Activities play a big part in daily life, and the full-time activity directors set up outings, field trips, art classes, Bible study groups, Catholic services, cooking classes, and talks from educational speakers, while the community has a beauty salon, barbershop, library, main lounge, chapel, billiards and game rooms, a private dining room for parties and guest quarters if someone wants to have family stay over, plus there's an enclosed courtyard for safe outdoor time. Emergency call systems are in every bedroom and bathroom, which adds a little more peace of mind, and scheduled transportation is available for errands and appointments, with weekly housekeeping and all utilities included except the phone bill. They welcome pets, allow visiting chaplains or priests from different faiths, and hold both on-site and off-site devotional activities, so residents can join worship or faith groups if they want, and there's even a 250-seat hall for dances and big events for those who like more social gatherings. Westminster Manor is part of the Life Care Services family, and their safety program, Eversafe 360, tries to keep residents' health and security as a top priority, and with all these different choices, amenities, and supports, people can find a living situation that best fits their needs, whether they're looking for more independence, need a bit of daily help, or require more skilled medical attention as they grow older.
