    Excellent small memory care facility

I toured and moved my wife into this small, clean 20-bed facility (about two years old) with licensed memory support and was very impressed. The owner is knowledgeable and hands-on, staff are compassionate and treat residents like family, and the care is thorough - excellent medical attention, physical therapy, help with showers/laundry, and personalized support. Rooms are home-like with private accessible baths, great customizable meals, lots of activities and a beautiful backyard, and pricing is all-inclusive and predictable. Only downside I've noticed: there are few outings/shopping trips.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is strongly positive, emphasizing high-quality, personalized care in a clean, newly built environment. Reviewers repeatedly highlight the smaller scale of the community (about 20 beds) as a major benefit: the size allows staff and the owner to be personally involved and to deliver individualized attention. The facility is relatively new (around two years old), well maintained, and described as clean and home-like, with private rooms and private baths that contribute to residents’ comfort.

Care quality and staffing are central strengths in the reviews. Multiple commenters note that the owner/management is thorough, caring, and directly engaged with residents and families. Staff are characterized as compassionate, knowledgeable, and family-like in their approach. Reviewers point to excellent medical attention, personalized care plans, and attention to detail. The memory support license is explicitly mentioned, which supports confidence for residents needing memory care. The small size of the home is repeatedly framed positively because it fosters close relationships and responsiveness; family members report that residents feel at home, are happy, and are engaged.

Facilities and accessibility receive consistent praise. The building’s recent construction is reflected in accessible room features such as built-in shower chairs, private baths, and other thoughtful design details. Outdoor amenities — including a covered patio and a beautiful backyard — are highlighted as pleasant spaces for outdoor entertainment and relaxation. Indoor common areas support social activities with games and a designated arts & crafts area.

Dining and daily services are also noted favorably. Meals are described as good and customizable to resident preferences, and the community provides practical assistance such as help with showers and laundry. There is on-site availability of physical therapy services and a variety of organized activities, which reviewers connect to residents’ improved engagement and satisfaction.

Management, pricing, and transparency are additional positive themes. Reviewers appreciate the owner’s hands-on involvement and responsiveness to issues. Pricing is described as all-inclusive and predictable, which families found helpful for planning and avoiding surprises. Several summaries mention that the overall impression is very positive and that prospective families are encouraged to tour the facility.

The primary concern raised across the summaries is limited off-site outings and shopping trips. While the community offers a range of on-site activities and outdoor amenities, at least one reviewer specifically noted a lack of frequent excursions outside the facility for shopping or other outings. No other consistent negatives were reported in the provided summaries, but families who prioritize frequent off-site activities or larger-community offerings may want to ask about transportation and outing schedules during a tour.

In conclusion, the reviews portray BeeHive Homes Assisted Living as a newer, well-maintained, small-scale assisted living community with a strong emphasis on personalized, compassionate care, solid clinical attention, and owner-led management. Strengths are concentrated in staff quality, home-like living spaces, accessibility features, on-site activities, and transparent all-inclusive pricing. Prospective residents and families should be encouraged to tour to confirm fit and to discuss the frequency of off-site outings if external activities are important to them.

    About BeeHive Homes Assisted Living

BeeHive Homes Assisted Living at Arrowhead in Glendale, AZ, is a senior living community with a warm, family-like setting, and people tend to feel at home because the building looks and feels like a house rather than a facility, and you see the residents and staff connecting daily. The staff remains friendly and kind, helping with things like bathing, dressing, medication reminders, and even things like personal grooming or playing games together, so everyone gets attention but still keeps as much independence as possible. The rooms are private, allowing couples to stay together if they want, and folks may bring their own decorations, which helps them feel settled. Every room has its own bathroom with ADA showers to make things easier, and there's house staff around all the time who keep things tidy and help with laundry. The meals come out of a gourmet kitchen, cooked onsite by a chef who uses fresh ingredients, with a dietitian planning out each menu, and the meals bring people together in a common dining space. People always mention the food feels like home-cooked, and that makes daily life more enjoyable, plus there are gifts and celebrations for holidays that help everyone stay connected and feeling special.

Outside, there's a secure courtyard and patio so folks can enjoy some sunshine or a bit of quiet, and indoors, people gather for bingo, painting, quilting, fishing, and even bunko or crochet-as well as life enrichment activities meant to keep hands busy and minds sharp. There's a salon for hair and nail care, helping residents look and feel their best, and utility costs-like Wi-Fi, cable, and phone-are all included, making the experience smoother and less stressful for families. Staff assess each resident when they move in, and again every so often, so care gets adjusted as needs change, and there's a consulting nurse available at any hour in case something crops up, and the secured buildings plus nurse call systems help keep everyone safe and reduces worries for families.

The place specializes in both assisted living and memory care, welcoming people who may need temporary respite or those with dementia or other kinds of memory loss, and the care model is set up so every resident gets personal attention and a care plan that's truly individual. BeeHive Homes operates several of these small, home-style communities across Arizona-besides Glendale, they've got locations in Marana, Sierra Vista, and Green Valley-helping seniors keep their dignity and remain as independent as possible while knowing skilled staff are nearby.

Families trying to figure out the best place can talk to an advisor who'll walk them through all the choices and give community details, because BeeHive Homes puts out information and reviews that get checked for honesty, so folks know what to expect, even though prices aren't all listed yet. They rate well-this spot has a 4.5 out of 5 stars so far with one verified review-and the focus stays on keeping things clean, welcoming, and comfortable. Activities, nutritious meals, and personal care help people settle in and stay healthy, and the small size helps everyone feel part of a real community, where friendships form between the staff, residents, and even family members.
