    Warm home-like compassionate attentive staff

I placed my mom here and couldn't be happier. It's a small, home-like, spotless facility with 24/7 professional care - Mary (the RN owner) and Adin are hands-on and the staff are compassionate, attentive, and trustworthy. Home-cooked, nutritious meals from an excellent chef, plenty of activities (live music, baking, games), good communication with family, and personalized dignity-focused care. Highly recommend this warm, well-run, caring home.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment: The reviews form a strongly positive, consistent portrait of Absolute Best Care Group Home as a small, clean, well-managed residential care option offering highly personalized, compassionate care. Across nearly all summaries, reviewers emphasize the facility’s family-like atmosphere, the visible involvement of owners (particularly Mary, an RN, and Adin), and a staff described as attentive, loving, and professional. Many reviewers explicitly state they would highly recommend the home and credit it with providing top-tier care and dignity for residents.

Care quality and staff: Multiple reviews highlight clinical strength and availability of medical oversight — an RN-owner, on-site or visiting doctors and nurses, and 24/7 live-in staff. This combination is repeatedly cited as providing convenient access to care and reassurance to families. The caregiving team is characterized as compassionate, detail-oriented, and proactive in meeting resident needs (including ADL assistance). Several summaries praise good communication with families, hands-on owners who check in regularly, and smooth coordination with outside providers such as Hospice. The overall depiction is of a tightly knit, stable caregiving team that treats residents like family.

Facilities and cleanliness: The home’s small size (maximum around five residents) and home-like presentation are frequent positives. Reviewers call the facility light, airy, updated, and spotless, with a house mother or staff member keeping the environment tidy. Renovations and new decor are noted, and multiple reviewers specifically say it was the cleanest home they toured. The small scale is portrayed as contributing to a welcoming, intimate environment, though it also implies limited bed availability.

Dining and amenities: Food quality is a standout theme. An on-site professional chef and daily home-cooked meals are repeatedly praised for being nutritious and appealing; specific items such as homemade pizza, dessert days, and baking days are mentioned. Reviewers note balanced meals and variety, and they link good dining to overall resident happiness. Amenities such as a mascot dog, weekly or biweekly live music, and frequent social events add to the pleasant atmosphere.

Activities and social life: The home is described as active and engaging, offering both group and individualized activities — bingo, baking, puzzles, live music, and other weekly events. Several reviews highlight that residents are socially engaged and enjoy companionship from one another, contributing to an uplifting, lively environment. Reviewers emphasize that activities are tailored and frequent, supporting mental and social well-being.

Management and reputation: Reviewers consistently praise the owners’ integrity, professionalism, and genuine affection for residents. Names (Mary and Adin) come up repeatedly, as does Mary’s nursing background, which enhances credibility. The home is described as well-run and reputable, with many first-hand endorsements and expressions of trustworthiness. Several families note smooth transitions into assisted living and dignified, respectful care during transfers.

Notable patterns and concerns: Negative comments are minimal. The most commonly mentioned potential drawback is the home’s small capacity — while reviewers largely treat this as a benefit, it could limit availability for prospective residents. One review mentions prior emergency room visits related to a resident (details are not provided), and a few families reported initial hesitation because of negative past experiences with care homes — but those reviewers uniformly report that their concerns were alleviated after experiencing the care at this facility. No recurring complaints about staffing shortages, safety issues, or food quality appear in the summaries provided.

Conclusion: Taken together, the reviews depict Absolute Best Care Group Home as a highly personalized, compassionate, and professionally run small residential care home. Strengths include clinically informed leadership (RN owner), round-the-clock attentive staff, excellent home-cooked meals from an on-site chef, cleanliness, varied activities, and strong family communication. The primary limitation to note is small capacity, which could affect availability for some families. Otherwise, reviewers overwhelmingly recommend the facility and highlight it as a place where residents receive dignified, loving care in a warm, home-like setting.
