    Spotless family-like home responsive caregivers

I toured many homes and chose this one - best decision. The owner Chip and caregivers Lilly and Cookie are responsive, kind and attentive; the house is spotless, lively and truly family-like. Meals are homemade and satisfying, rooms are comfortable (private baths available), and doctor/nurse visits plus FaceTime updates made the transition seamless. Affordable, excellent value, and gave our family real peace of mind - I highly recommend.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is strongly positive, with many reviewers emphasizing compassionate, individualized care and a consistently clean, home-like environment. A large number of reviewers singled out the owner, Chip, and caregivers Lilly and Cookie by name, praising their responsiveness, kindness, and willingness to go above and beyond. The facility is repeatedly described as feeling like a family home, with staff who take time to learn residents, use residents' names, and tailor care to physical, mental, and medical needs. Several accounts highlighted seamless transitions, strong communication with families, and the provision of pictures, videos and FaceTime calls to keep relatives informed and comforted.

Care quality and staffing are the most commonly noted strengths. Reviewers report attentive caregiving, help with medical requirements, and support during delicate or terminal situations. Multiple reviewers mentioned in-home doctor and nurse visits and said the home was well-equipped to meet medical needs. Staff responsiveness, quick follow-up, and personal involvement by management are recurring themes that contribute to relatives feeling relief and peace of mind. The small census is often framed positively because it enables more personalized attention and a cozy atmosphere.

Facility and amenities receive frequent praise. The home is described as spotless, well-maintained and pleasantly decorated, with private rooms often including private bathrooms. Common areas and a pleasant backyard/open spaces are noted. Services such as housekeeping, laundry, transportation, and home-cooked meals with dietary accommodations are cited as strengths. Food quality is frequently mentioned as good to excellent, with many reviewers calling out homemade meals, balanced menus and fresh fruits.

Communication and family support are consistent positives. Families report regular updates, proactive outreach from staff, and facilitation of virtual visits. Several reviewers appreciated assistance with understanding financial aid and described staff as helpful when navigating payment options. The owner and caregivers are credited with creating an emotionally supportive environment that treats residents with dignity and respect.

Despite the overwhelmingly favorable feedback, there are important concerns and some variability in experience. A small number of reviews raised significant red flags. One review alleged serious issues including poor nutrition, untrained staff, lack of sanitary standards, absence of an emergency protocol, and a fall resulting in a broken hip and rapid decline. That account contrasts sharply with the majority and should be considered a critical outlier that merits direct follow-up and verification. Other concerns that appear across several reviews, though less extreme, include pricing increases as residents require higher levels of care, non-acceptance of ALTCS, occasional limits on organized activities (sometimes attributed to COVID), and a perception by a few families of insufficient one-on-one attention. There are also notes that room sizes vary and some are small.

Patterns suggest generally reliable, compassionate care with high marks for cleanliness, family atmosphere, and communication, but with pockets of concern about consistency in training, emergency readiness, and the financial model as care needs grow. The low resident count is listed both as a pro for personalization and as a con because a few reviewers worry about operational viability or limited activity options. Given the highly positive consensus alongside a few serious negative allegations, prospective families should visit in person, ask for recent inspection or incident records, clarify emergency procedures and staff training protocols, confirm current pricing structures and how increases are handled, and verify acceptance of any applicable benefits or coverage such as ALTCS.

In summary, the dominant themes are strong, individualized caregiving by named staff and an involved owner; a clean, comfortable, home-like setting; solid communication and family support; and good food and ancillary services. These strengths are tempered by some reports of variability in care, at least one severe negative incident reported by a reviewer, concerns about increasing costs with higher acuity, and limitations related to activities and payment acceptance. Overall, reviews portray All Care Assisted Living Home & Memory Care as a warm, attentive option where many families experienced excellent care, while also indicating areas a cautious consumer should investigate further before committing.
