I'm very happy with this small, homey place - the manager treats it like their own home and both manager and owner are easy to talk to. Staff are friendly and informative, handle medications securely, arrange medical appointments, and will drive residents to Target/Walmart; meals are homemade (little canned food) and you can bring a dish. Private $2500 / shared $1800 (may drop to $1500 after evaluation); 4 residents now (up to 6), sliding glass doors to a patio, 30-day move-out notice - clean and comfortable, I'd recommend it.

Overall sentiment in the reviews for Lemarsh Homecare is predominantly positive about the personal, home-like quality of the setting and the hands-on nature of care, but there are some consistent communication concerns that prospective families should verify before committing.
Care quality and daily living: Reviewers emphasize a residential, homey atmosphere rather than an institutional setting. The manager is described as treating the facility as their own home, which suggests a close, personal approach to care. Medication management is handled onsite with locked storage, and staff can help arrange medical appointments, which indicates a structured approach to health and safety. The facility size is small (currently four residents with a maximum of six), so residents are likely to receive individualized attention and more intimate supervision compared with larger communities.
Staff and management: Multiple reviews note that staff, the manager, and the owner are friendly, nice, and easy to talk with; staff are described as informative. This reinforces the impression of a warm, communicative front-line team and an engaged management. However, there are also specific reports of unresponsiveness — notably phone calls not being answered and general poor communication in some instances. This is the most significant negative theme and stands in contrast to other comments about approachable staff. The mixed feedback suggests variability in responsiveness that could depend on time of day, staffing levels, or particular personnel on duty.
Facilities and environment: The home is described as clean and friendly, with features like sliding glass doors to an outside patio adding to the residential appeal. The small capacity (up to six residents) contributes to a homelike environment and likely quieter communal spaces. The 30-day move-out notice policy is clearly stated in reviews, which provides some predictability around transitions.
Dining and lifestyle: Dining is highlighted as a strength: reviewers mention homemade meals, minimal use of canned food, and flexibility for families to bring dishes if desired. This suggests a personalized food program and willingness to accommodate resident/family preferences. There is also practical assistance reported for errands and outings — staff can drive residents to nearby stores such as Target and Walmart — which supports resident independence and access to necessities.
Costs, policies, and logistics: Reviewers provide clear pricing points: private rooms quoted at $2,500 and shared rooms at $1,800, with a potential reduction to $1,500 for shared accommodations after an evaluation. These figures give a concrete starting point but the mention of a possible price adjustment after evaluation indicates final pricing may vary based on resident needs. The small size of the facility may limit availability, so families should confirm openings. The 30-day move-out notice is noted and should be factored into planning.
Notable patterns and recommendations: The dominant positive themes are the intimate, home-like environment, homemade meals, medication and appointment support, and approachable leadership. The primary concern across reviews is inconsistent communication — specifically unreturned phone calls and periods of unresponsiveness. Given the contradiction between comments about accessible management and reports of poor communication, prospective families should verify responsiveness directly (for example, by calling at different times, requesting an on-site visit, or asking for a direct contact number). Also confirm current occupancy (4 of 6) and clarify any conditional pricing after evaluation. These steps will help reconcile the generally favorable impressions with the reported communication issues before making placement decisions.
