    Mixed experience; good rehab, unsafe

I had a very mixed experience. Some nurses, CNAs and therapists were compassionate and excellent - great rehab, activities and friendly front-desk people - but too many staff were inattentive, rude or lazy: call buttons ignored, rough handling, safety lapses and a 911 transfer. The facility felt understaffed and poorly managed with spotty communication, dirty rooms/urine odor, COVID lockdowns and inconsistent medical care. Good for short-term rehab if you get the right team; I would not trust it for long-term placement.

The center provides 24-hour care for both short and long-term residents, with support for daily needs like bathing, eating, and dressing, plus feeding assistance and retraining.

Meals come from a dietary staff, including a registered dietician, who work with doctors' orders to make sure food fits each health plan. There's in-house wound care, pain management, enteral and intravenous therapy, and psychological services. The staff also provide social services that look after family caregivers, insurance needs, and personal support, and activities are organized around residents' interests to give social, spiritual, emotional, and recreational outlets.

There's a dedicated COVID-19 unit for residents suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19, along with strict infection control and hygiene protocols. Staff working in the COVID unit stay there during their shifts, change clothes, shower, and undergo screening when moving between units. The center focuses on monitoring residents, supporting family visits under visitation guidelines, and making sure everyone is as safe as possible.

The facility is involved in state and federal legislative activities too. As for reviews, it holds a rating of 2.7 out of 5 based on 30 reviews, showing a range of opinions from those who've experienced care here. While the website has moments where server errors limit information, the center continues following a commitment to providing care, support, and recovery services in a straightforward and compassionate way.
