    Immaculate community with attentive staff

I moved my dad into this immaculate, resort-like community and have been impressed by the exceptional, attentive staff, brand-new apartments, beautiful dining area and wide daily activities (movies, music, fitness, pools, salons). Meals are generally excellent, parking is convenient, and basic medical care has been competent when needed, though I've seen a few instances of inattentive or inconsistent caregiver behavior. Overall good value-I would recommend it.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment in the reviews is mixed but leans positive regarding the facility's physical environment, amenities, and many staff members. Multiple reviewers emphasize that Frank Residences presents as a first-class, resort-like community: clean, immaculate, and modern. Descriptions include brand-new contemporary apartments, a beautiful and modern dining area, theaters, swimming pools, fitness rooms, and on-site beauty/health salons. Many reviewers felt the grounds and common areas were well maintained and described the place as majestic or awesome. Practical positives repeatedly called out are the safe environment, convenient guest parking, and perceived fair or competitive value.

Staff and caregiving produce the most divided feedback. A number of reviews praise the staff as excellent, friendly, attentive, and professional — with caregivers who provide compassionate support and know when to escalate care (for example, calling an ambulance when appropriate). Several family members stated their loved ones were treated well and highly recommended the community. Conversely, other reviews report troubling caregiver behavior: incompetence, laziness, and even deception. These negative reports suggest variability in caregiver performance and occasional lapses in direct care. Taken together, the pattern indicates generally strong staffing and attentive teams in many cases, but with notable exceptions that can materially affect resident experience.

Dining and medical care are two areas with clear inconsistency across reviewers. Dining is described by some as excellent with a good variety of healthy meals, while other reviewers simply call the food terrible. Similarly, medical care is characterized by some reviewers as capable for basic needs and responsive in emergencies, while others report no competent medical care. This polarized feedback suggests that experiences may depend on timing, which staff are on duty, or expectations about the level of clinical services provided in assisted living versus higher-acuity settings.

Activities and engagement are consistently praised. Reviewers note an extensive activities program with daily options such as movie nights, music performances, men's groups, Friday services, and fitness opportunities. The presence of multiple organized programs, fitness rooms, and social events appears to be a reliable strength of the community and contributes to residents’ quality of life.

Management and operational concerns are present but nuanced in the reviews. Some reviewers call management well-meaning, but also indicate situations where management either did not prevent or was not immediately aware of caregiver shortcomings. One reviewer mentioned a long wait to open (which may refer to opening an apartment or scheduling move-in), producing disappointment. These operational issues, combined with reports of deceptive caregivers, point to areas where oversight, accountability, and communication could be improved.

Memory care and dementia-related needs are specifically mentioned as a challenge for at least one reviewer. While the facility advertises memory care, the reviews imply variability in how well those needs are met: some families are satisfied while others perceive difficulties. Prospective residents and families with dementia-specific needs should ask targeted questions about staff training, staffing ratios, behavior management protocols, and recent outcomes in the memory care neighborhood.

In summary, Frank Residences offers a strong physical environment and broad programming that many residents and families appreciate. The facility shines in cleanliness, modern accommodations, resort-style amenities, and an active engagement calendar. However, experiences with dining, medical care, and direct caregivers are inconsistent across reviewers. Those considering Frank Residences should weigh the clear strengths in facilities and activities against the variability in caregiver performance and clinical services. Recommended due diligence: tour multiple times (including evenings/weekends), meet direct-care staff, ask for recent staffing and incident reports, sample meals, and clarify memory care staffing and protocols to ensure the community’s strengths align with your or your loved one’s needs.
