    Loving professional care, some hiccups

I agonized over placing my mom, but I'm so grateful I chose this facility - Cassandra, Thomas and Brandee (and the weekend team) provided loving, professional hospice/full-time care, kept us informed, and treated her like family. The place is clean, homey and quiet with nice rooms, big windows, social residents and amazing home-cooked meals; staff are caring, on top of things, and genuinely have residents' best interests in mind. It isn't perfect (smaller space than I wanted, and we ran into some poor customer-service hiccups), but overall I strongly recommend this wonderful, transparent, hardworking team.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across these review summaries is strongly positive, with multiple families emphasizing compassionate, attentive, and personalized care. The most consistent praise centers on the caregiving team: multiple staff members are named repeatedly (notably Cassandra, Thomas, and Brandee), and reviewers describe staff as caring, personable, and ‘on top of things.’ Several comments highlight that staff provide full‑time, hands‑on care, keep families updated, and show particular sensitivity during difficult decisions such as hospice referrals. Gratitude and strong recommendations are recurring themes; many reviewers explicitly call the facility the best place for their loved one and say they felt their family member was safe and loved.

Care quality and family communication are standout strengths. Reviewers report exceptional day-to-day care, close monitoring, and proactive communication with family members. There are multiple mentions of staff going beyond basic duties to provide loving support, and some reviews single out weekend staff for being particularly supportive. The facility also receives credit for compassionate management during end‑of‑life care, with families noting respectful, loving treatment during hospice transitions.

The physical environment receives mixed but mostly positive comments. Several reviewers describe the facility as clean, with nice rooms and large windows that overlook a backyard. Comfortable furnishings (warm recliners) and a homey, welcoming atmosphere are emphasized, contributing to residents’ comfort. The location in a quiet 55+ community and the presence of social, friendly residents are cited as positives for quality of life. However, reviewers also note that the building is older and that the space may be smaller than some families would prefer. These limitations appear to be offset for many families by the quality of care and cleanliness.

Dining and daily life are praised: meals are described as home-cooked, appealing (smelling amazing), and well liked by residents. The combination of good food, a warm atmosphere, social interaction among residents, and attentive caregiving creates a generally favorable daily experience for those who live there.

Management and administrative issues show a generally transparent and resident-focused ownership in several reviews, with owners and leadership described positively. That said, there are some notable concerns: at least one reviewer reported an unprofessional intake/customer‑service incident (a caller being hung up on), and reviewers mentioned a lack of an online presence (no website) and possible hiring or staffing process shortcomings. These issues suggest some variability in administrative responsiveness or front‑end processes even though direct caregiving staff are highly regarded.

In summary, the dominant pattern is overwhelmingly positive regarding hands-on care, staff compassion, family communication, cleanliness, and the homelike atmosphere. Most criticisms focus on the facility’s physical limitations (older building, smaller space) and a few administrative or customer‑service shortcomings (limited online information, isolated unprofessional interaction, potential hiring concerns). Families weighing this facility should prioritize the high level of personal caregiving and supportive staff culture noted in reviews, while being aware of the building’s age, limited size, and verifying current administrative/contact processes during their evaluation.
