Bel-View ALF CORP sat on Bel Aire Drive in Miami and helped seniors with different needs like assisted living, residential care, and memory care for folks with Alzheimer's or dementia, and it even had help for people with tough behaviors or exit-seeking habits, which the caring staff knew how to handle thanks to special training, and the place looked after people who needed respite care, hospice support, and diabetic management-they helped with checking blood sugar and supported residents who needed to manage their own diabetes, even offering help if someone needed insulin monitored, and if a person had incontinence or needed help moving from bed to wheelchair, folks there could assist with those things too, making sure people stayed safe with secure exits and wheelchair accessible showers, and then, they had some nice touches for daily life, like a visiting dentist for dental care, on-site speech therapists and occupational therapists coming by, and physical therapists dropping in too for those that needed a bit of rehab or help getting moving again, plus they allowed cats and dogs, so people didn't have to give up their pets, and there was animal care for those who couldn't handle pet things by themselves anymore, and the inside had a beauty salon, art classes, worship services, indoor spaces for social gatherings, and a big secured courtyard that helped people who wander feel safe and get some fresh air, and they ran trips and outings, field trips, and kept things lively with activities meant to keep people active and connected, which folks said made everyone happier, and the kitchen served meals, prepared with good ingredients, to cut the effort and cost for folks who'd rather not cook, and the rooms came in choices like studios, one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms, and shared spaces, with special arrangements to support different health needs, and families could choose to pay by private pay, social security, veterans' benefits, or sometimes private insurance, but there were also community, respite, buy-in, and multiple care level fees, plus a second person fee if two were moving in together, and if someone drove, they could use the resident parking lot, and folks speaking Spanish, Chinese, or Armenian felt at home since several helpful, kind, and joyful staff spoke those languages, and they kept staff on hand around the clock for emergencies, supporting safe, comfortable living, and with the bus lines nearby, visitors could come and go a bit easier, but in the end, the place voluntarily dissolved back in October 2014, and Mayra Pino, who was the registered agent, president, and vice president, oversaw things during the years it filed its annual reports.
