    About Serenity Place

Serenity Place has a small, home-like setting with just 16 beds for elderly residents, and the facility manager along with a team of caring staff work around the clock to make sure everyone's safe and comfortable, with someone always there thanks to 24-hour supervision and a call system, and the staff's got First Aid and CPR certification, plus a Registered Nurse comes every month to check on things, so folks get care that matches what they need, whether it's just a little help to stay independent, or more involved care like skilled nursing, memory care for dementia, or even hospice if required, and they also offer adult day services for those who don't need to stay overnight. The meal service is home-cooked with nutritious ingredients, laundry and housekeeping are handled by staff, and there's help with bathing, dressing, medication, and regular activities of daily living, so nobody's left to struggle. Residents find lots of ways to stay busy, as the structured program encourages making friends, socializing, and joining in all kinds of daily activities, some spiritual, some educational, and always some fun, with outings offsite too, and if residents need a ride to appointments or somewhere else, rides are arranged. The grounds have safe walking paths and a garden to enjoy, and there are places for folks to gather-common rooms, a barber or salon for grooming, and a bunch of amenities to help people feel at home, stay healthy, and stick to familiar routines. Healthcare services cover things like incontinence care, non-ambulatory help, and diabetic support, so no one's needs are overlooked, and care is always adjusted to fit the person's health, comfort, and emotional well-being. Staff provide a lot of TLC, they focus on making everyone feel safe and cared for, and even when a lot of the terms for services and amenities aren't detailed by name, they still make sure everyone gets meals, help with medication, laundry, transportation, and housekeeping, all in a setting meant to maximize quality of life.
