I moved my mother here and I'm pleased - the staff are caring, professional and attentive, and management is excellent. The place feels home-like with engaging activities, home-style meals, on-site therapy and clean, comfortable rooms. Overall a warm, family atmosphere I would recommend.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Reviews portray the facility as a small, home-like community with a strong emphasis on compassionate, person-focused care. Many families describe a warm, family atmosphere, frequent social programming and themed events, and staff who are attentive and respectful. The building and rooms are frequently described as clean, modern, and comfortable, with several mentions of large rooms and private bathrooms that contribute to resident comfort.

Care and staff: Care quality is generally described positively. Reviewers highlight compassionate caregiving, dementia-aware staff, and a secure memory-care unit. On-site therapy services (PT/OT) and a range of long-term care supports are reported, and several reviewers praised individual staff members and the admissions/business-office team for being responsive and helpful. At the same time, reviewers identified operational concerns: staff turnover and variability in staff experience appear to affect continuity for some families, and a few accounts describe inconsistent adherence to specific care routines unless families follow up regularly.

Dining and activities: Dining is frequently characterized as home-cooked and well-balanced, with many reviewers noting enjoyable meals and improvements over time. The program calendar includes daily activities, bingo, live entertainment, holiday events, and special recognitions such as veterans’ observances; these offerings contribute to an engaged social environment. However, a recurring operational theme is uneven follow-through—some planned activities were reported as not consistently carried out—and small dining capacity can limit communal dining options during peak times.

Facilities: The physical environment is generally praised as clean, modern, and welcoming, with pleasant common areas (porches, fish tank, small nooks) that support social interaction. Memory-care spaces are described as secure and appropriately equipped. Noted facility-level limitations include the small courtyard and limited outdoor amenities, accessibility gaps for wheelchair users in some outdoor areas, occasional odor concerns in common spaces, and specific questions raised about kitchen safety and maintenance practices.

Management and communication: Several reviewers commend managers and office staff for being personable, responsive, and supportive during transitions. Nevertheless, some families experienced inconsistent front-desk responsiveness, difficulty obtaining pricing information during tours, and variability in communication about day-to-day care. A few reviews described an inexperienced director and mixed staff tenure, which can contribute to uneven operational performance.

Notable patterns and guidance for prospective families: The dominant pattern is of a caring, community-oriented facility with strong social programming and generally good clinical supports—especially for residents with dementia. Operational weaknesses cluster around staffing consistency, activity follow-through, small communal spaces, occasional odor issues, and certain maintenance or safety questions (kitchen-related). Prospective families should consider an in-person visit that includes: observing an activity in progress, asking about staffing ratios and staff tenure, reviewing kitchen and maintenance safety procedures, confirming outdoor accessibility, and requesting clear, written pricing and admission information. Such focused inquiries will help determine whether the facility’s strengths align with a specific resident’s needs and expectations.
