    Clean homey peaceful facility caring

I'm impressed by how clean, homey, and peaceful the facility is - beautiful gardens, no disturbing smells, and spacious semi-private rooms that still allow privacy. The small size and genuinely caring, attentive staff make the care personal; my mom is happy and residents seem satisfied. They're cautious with COVID and allow outside visits, but it's costly and has no formal rehab/therapy program - great for compassionate daily care, not for intensive rehab needs.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment: Reviews for Taylor Manor, Inc. are predominantly positive, with many reviewers emphasizing the facility's small, home-like setting, clean environment, and compassionate staff. Common praise centers on personalized attention made possible by the facility’s smaller size, and multiple family members report that their loved ones are happy and well cared for. The grounds and outdoor spaces, especially the gardens, receive repeated positive mention and contribute to a calm, peaceful atmosphere.

Care quality and staff: The most consistent strength across reviews is the caregiving team. Terms such as "wonderful," "very caring," "compassionate," and "attentive" recur, and several reviewers explicitly say staff are genuinely concerned for residents. These comments suggest a staff culture oriented toward attentive, person-centered care. That said, there are isolated but significant negative comments describing poor treatment by staff; these indicate variability in individual experiences and suggest prospective residents and families should ask about staff continuity, training, and oversight during visits.

Facilities and living arrangements: Reviewers frequently note that the facility is very clean, without unpleasant odors, and has a home-like feel rather than an institutional one. Semi-private rooms are described as spacious with separate sides that allow privacy—this is a specific physical advantage to highlight. The property’s gardens and peaceful environment are cited as contributors to resident well-being. The facility’s Catholic community identity is pointed out by some reviewers, which may be meaningful for families seeking that cultural or faith-based connection.

Services, therapy, and activities: A prominent gap in the reviews is the absence of a rehabilitation/therapy program. Multiple summaries explicitly say there is no rehab/therapy program or that the therapy offering needs improvement, and at least one reviewer considered this a reason not to recommend the facility. Reviews do not provide much detail about dining, structured activities, or recreational programming beyond outdoor visits and the gardens; the lack of mention suggests these areas either meet expectations without standing out or were not a focal point for reviewers.

COVID policies and visitation: Several reviewers mention cautious COVID-related restrictions. While outside visits are allowed, restrictions and limited access during the pandemic are noted—some families appreciated the caution, while others viewed the limitations as a drawback. Prospective residents should confirm current visitation policies, as these were a recurrent theme affecting family satisfaction.

Cost and recommendations: Cost is raised as a concern by multiple reviewers; the facility is described as costly and at least one reviewer explicitly does not recommend it because of price combined with limited therapy services. Overall recommendations are still common—many reviewers highly recommend Taylor Manor—but there is a minority of dissenting experiences centered on cost and service gaps.

Patterns and takeaways: The reviews present a clear profile: Taylor Manor appears to offer a small, clean, peaceful, and homey environment with caring and attentive staff—attributes that many families value highly. Major cautions are the lack of an on-site rehabilitation/therapy program, some restrictive COVID-era visitation policies (or at least perceived restrictions), the facility’s cost, and a few reports of poor staff interactions which indicate variability. For families considering Taylor Manor, the most important follow-ups would be to verify current therapy and rehabilitation availability (or referral arrangements), confirm up-to-date visitation policies, inquire about staff training and turnover, and compare costs against the level of services needed. Overall, Taylor Manor is frequently recommended for those prioritizing a small, clean, compassionate setting, but may be less suitable for residents with substantial therapy or rehab needs or for families for whom cost is a primary concern.

The facility cares about the whole person, so staff focus on comfort, compassion, and meeting the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of everyone, aiming to ease pain and prevent hardship wherever possible.
