Caring small home, staffing/payment concerns
I placed my parent at Morning Rainbow and appreciated the small, clean, homey setting, kind and hardworking staff (Wendy, David and team), private room with bath, excellent meals, attentive care and quick laundry - he was safe and comfortable. That said, the home often seemed understaffed (sometimes a single caregiver), activities were limited, a few staff felt undertrained, and the owner could be impatient; billing/refund policies (nonrefundable down payment/first month charged) were poorly explained and caused me real trouble after my father's death. Overall it's a loving, high-quality small facility I'd recommend with reservations about staffing and payment practices.
