    Impeccably maintained, welcoming, caring staff

I'm very pleased with Landmark of Collins - the grounds and interior are beautiful, fresh smelling and impeccably maintained, and the atmosphere felt safe and welcoming. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive, knew residents by name, kept families promptly updated, and provided excellent rehab and hospice support. My step-mother thrived with the activities and around-the-clock, family-like care; I'm grateful and would recommend this warm, well-run place.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Reviews describe Landmark of Collins as a facility with consistently positive interpersonal and environmental attributes. Commenters emphasize a welcoming, hotel-like atmosphere combined with a high level of cleanliness and a pleasant building presentation. Repeated remarks about a bright, well-decorated interior and tidy rooms support a perception of a well-maintained physical environment.

Care and staff: The dominant theme is the quality of staff interactions. Caregivers and clinicians are repeatedly described as friendly, attentive, and responsive; family communication is characterized as prompt and informative. Reviewers praise 24-hour clinical coverage and note that rehabilitation and physical-therapy services are valuable and well run. Hospice and end-of-life services are also available and positively referenced. Named staff and the social-work function were singled out in several comments as helpful in coordinating care and keeping families informed.

Dining and activities: Dining receives favorable comments regarding food quality and meal coordination. Recreational programming is regularly mentioned — puzzles, books, social opportunities, religious/ministry activities, and an on-site hair salon contribute to resident engagement and a home-like routine. Therapy and structured rehab services are presented as meaningful components of recovery while residents are in the facility.

Facilities and amenities: The property is described as modern, secure, and accessible, with good curb appeal and an interior that many reviewers find inviting. Multiple notes about an odor-free environment, neat common areas, and a staff that maintains a hotel-like presentation indicate a priority on cleanliness and hospitality. Security measures and an accessible layout for staff and residents are also highlighted.

Management and notable patterns: Management and front-line leadership receive positive mentions for coordinating discharges, arranging appointments, and providing family updates. The social-work role appears active in care transitions. Patterns that may warrant attention include restrictive policies around overnight visitation and variability in room comfort (for example, mattress quality and furnishings). A few comments referenced administrative stress during admissions or transitions; while not dominant, this suggests that some operational processes could benefit from refinement to improve the experience during intake and transfer periods.

Bottom line: Landmark of Collins projects strengths in staff responsiveness, rehabilitation and hospice capability, clean and well-kept facilities, and active family communication. Prospective residents and families should consider the facility's strong hospitality and clinical service profile while clarifying visitation policies and room-furnishing options during tour and admission planning to ensure an appropriate fit.

    About Landmark of Collins

Landmark Of Collins sits in Collins, Mississippi and has 60 beds with all private rooms, which is something folks often find reassuring in a healthcare facility, and you'll see they're open day and night, every day of the week, so you can always reach someone if needed. They handle a wide range of care, including short-term rehabilitation for people needing to recover between the hospital and home, as well as long-term care for those who need skilled nursing or intermediate care because they can't live alone anymore. They've got dedicated programs for assisted living, adult care home services, and independent living, plus memory care for those living with dementia and other memory issues, and they're equipped to help with wound care and hospice care if a resident needs those services. The staff gets special training so they can look out for the health and comfort of the people there, and they work to keep everything safe, using enhanced barrier precautions when it's needed. Meals are made to be both nutritious and appetizing and served in a clean dining room, which helps keep spirits up, and there's a good variety of activities planned-both to give folks something to do and to help with body, mind, and spirit-which is nice for people who want to stay engaged and find a sense of routine or community. The therapy team comes up with a personalized therapy plan, so that each resident is getting help that fits their own needs, age, and health situation, and the whole place is managed to uphold privacy, dignity, and respect without a lot of fuss, giving residents as much say in their daily life as possible. For people with questions, Landmark Of Collins has an information request form on their website at landmarkofcollinsms.com, which is handy if you want to know more. They keep their activity calendar current, so residents, family, and staff know what's planned, and you'll find the amenities are designed to help folks enjoy their days, however they like to spend their time. Whether someone needs just a short stay to get back on their feet, or something more long-term with a homelike environment and attentive care, Landmark Of Collins has experience with all these needs and keeps a focus on safety, comfort, and honesty in the care they provide.
