    Unbelievable care, friendly staff, peaceful

I placed my mother at Beehive and couldn't be happier - the care is unbelievable and the doting, friendly staff go above and beyond. The small, home-like community is very clean and beautiful (lovely backyard garden), residents seem happy and relaxed, and home-cooked meals plus activities like bingo and piano make visits enjoyable. Location is convenient and care exceeded my expectations - 5/5, I highly recommend Beehive. Minor suggestions: better hospice/home-health coordination during transitions and a bit more activities (or a housekeeper to support aides).

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is highly positive. Multiple reviewers gave top marks, explicitly recommended BeeHive Homes Assisted Living, and described family members as happy, relaxed, and well cared for. The dominant theme is exceptional staff — described repeatedly as amazing, doting, professional, courteous, and willing to go over and beyond. Reviewers reported that staff interactions created a calming, reassuring experience for residents and families, and that care often exceeded expectations.

The facility and environment are highlighted as strengths. Reviewers used terms like home-like, beautiful, and very clean, noting there is no hospital feel. The setting includes a tended garden and backyard space that contributes to residents' enjoyment and activity. Several comments emphasized that visits were pleasant and the surroundings enjoyable, which supports an overall impression of a warm, residential atmosphere rather than an institutional one.

Dining and daily life received favorable comments: meals were described as home-cooked and delicious, contributing to residents' comfort. The small, intimate community was seen as an advantage for socialization — people found it easy to meet and interact with others and observed residents looking happy and in good health. Activities exist and are appreciated, with examples like bingo, piano player events, and small get-togethers with food. Supplemental resources such as brochures for military survivor assistance were also noted, indicating attentiveness to resident and family needs beyond basic caregiving.

There are a few consistent suggestions for improvement. Several reviewers wished for more frequent or broader activities — activities were characterized as occasional and there was a desire for greater programming. One reviewer suggested hiring a dedicated housekeeper to support aides, implying that staff time might be stretched thin or that cleaning duties could be more robustly staffed. Another reviewer recommended more structured involvement from hospice or home-health nursing during transition phases, indicating that some families see value in additional clinical support when care needs change.

In summary, the reviews paint BeeHive Homes Assisted Living as a small, well-kept, and welcoming community with standout staff and a very positive resident experience. The most notable strengths are the caring, professional staff and the home-like environment supported by clean facilities, gardens, good food, and friendly social interactions. Opportunities for improvement are modest and practical: expanding activity offerings, adding housekeeping support to relieve caregiving staff, and strengthening transitional clinical supports with hospice or home-health nursing. Overall, reviewers express gratitude and strong willingness to recommend the community based on observed resident well-being and the quality of interpersonal care.

    About BeeHive Homes Assisted Living

BeeHive Homes Assisted Living belongs to the larger BeeHive Homes network and has several locations, like BeeHive Homes of Taylorsville, Maple Grove, Springboro, McKinney, Hitchcock, Grain Valley, and South Tulsa. These are small, family-owned communities that look and feel like regular homes, and people can pick between private or shared residential units, some even made for couples if they like, with each room having its own bathroom with an ADA shower, and most have bright, cozy spaces set up for happiness and relaxation. Most homes focus on a resident-focused approach where the staff, including a Registered Nurse called the House Mother, gives personal attention and cares for everyone like family, trying to foster a warm and comforting place with Southern hospitality, so no one feels alone or overlooked, and the staff offers 24-hour help for anything needed.

BeeHive Homes Assisted Living has assisted living, independent living, respite care, and specialized memory care for people living with dementia or Alzheimer's, with each care plan reviewed at move-in and updated regularly, so families can feel at ease when someone needs more or less help with things like bathing, dressing, or taking medicine. The fee for care depends on the amount of help a person needs, from basic assistance with daily activities all the way up to more hands-on care, and every resident gets a clear explanation about the costs. There are private, furnished rooms with beds and linens ready, especially useful for respite stays if someone only needs short-term care, like after an illness or during a family emergency.

Meals are home-cooked and dietitian-approved using fresh ingredients, and residents can get special diets if requested, so there's a bit of comfort in every meal, and the dining is shared but can also be private if someone prefers. Every facility has daily housekeeping and laundry to keep things clean, and the staff takes care of all basic maintenance so families don't have to worry. Regular activities fill the schedule-things like fishing, quilting, and crocheting, group social events, physical and mental games, and even opportunities for exercise and outings, all meant to help folks stay active and happy, and there's always something going on for everyone.

You'll see indoor common areas, outdoor patios, lovely gardens with vegetables, and well-kept landscaping, plus places to sit and spend time or just rest and look out the window, and many homes offer a secure courtyard for both safety and relaxation. Staff can help with therapy needs, including physical and occupational therapy, so people can get stronger or stay steady on their feet. People can get help with medications, bathing, dressing or whatever else comes up during everyday life, and every room has private bathrooms so residents don't have to share with anyone else. For those needing memory care, BeeHive customizes care for memory disorders with activities and special plans to help people feel safe and engaged, and the setting is built to be secure for anyone who's prone to wandering or confusion. Families can reserve rooms with a deposit, and they'll get it back if a loved one's not able to move in due to health changes. Life at BeeHive is steady, with attention given to security, friendship, comfort, and good food, and though no place is ever perfect, people generally find the staff friendly, the homes clean and lively, and the days filled with good care and company.
