Golden Eagle Plaza provides both independent living and assisted living in a caring and safe community for seniors and disabled individuals, and it's run by Administrator Judy Lindquist and her team. The community houses about 170 residents in both modest and luxurious retirement apartments, and some are set up for assisted living with 24-hour staff support, pull cords, emergency alert systems, and regular assessments to help make sure each resident stays safe and comfortable based on their needs. Residents can rent private apartments month-to-month without buy-in fees or long leases, and they can choose furnished or unfurnished spaces that have kitchens or kitchenettes, views, individually controlled heating and cooling, showers, bathtubs, and wheel-chair accessible features. Seniors can bring dogs or cats, and there are indoor and outdoor common areas like lounges on each floor, a dining room, game room, library, arts room, and garden, plus walking paths for fresh air.
The community encourages friendship and activity with a program of movie nights, resident-run clubs, devotional activities, social and educational events, outings, and regular activities happening both on-site and off-site, with weekly transportation for shopping, medical visits, and activities. There's a wellness center, beautician and barber services including the Eagles Manor hair salon, laundry rooms on each floor, housekeeping, maintenance, WiFi, and cable TV. An emergency call system and handrails offer extra safety, while parking and complimentary transportation make it easy to get around, and residents each have a mailbox. Meals are provided with dining services that serve all-day options, restaurant-style, and dishes for special diets including vegetarian, diabetes-friendly, and allergy-sensitive meals, with three meals a day and two snacks for assisted living, or two meals (brunch and dinner) for independent living.
Personal care assistants help those in assisted living with three activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, or taking medicine, and there's non-ambulatory and incontinence care too. The staff are trained and present day and night, and long-term care insurance's accepted. Privacy, choice, and dignity are big priorities here, with amenities and a maintenance-free lifestyle meant to make residents' lives easier while keeping them active, healthy, social, and engaged, whether they're enjoying the activities room, relaxing in the lounge areas, getting their hair done, or tending plants in the garden. The community's right by shopping plazas, restaurants, medical buildings, and bus stops, making it easy to get to places on foot. Golden Eagle Plaza aims to provide honest care and support for elders, offering both a friendly environment and personal attention for every stage of senior living.
