    Small homey estate, feels familial

I placed my mom at Lambertville Estate and couldn't be happier. It's a small, homey place (14-15 residents) with immaculate private rooms, inviting light-filled common areas, and breathtaking 20-acre grounds and creek - peaceful yet social. The staff are genuinely loving, attentive, and professional; meals are gourmet and activities plentiful, personal and stimulating. Feels like family, stands apart from big-box facilities - I highly recommend it.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is strongly positive: reviewers consistently describe The Lambertville Estate as a boutique, home-like residence that prioritizes warmth, personalized attention and an upscale but comfortable environment. The most repeated attributes are its small size (reported as 14–15 residents), a "family" or "bed-and-breakfast" feel, and a striking, well-kept estate setting with notable natural features (creek, 20-acre wilderness) and excellent views. Reviewers describe the property as immaculate, thoughtfully designed and possessing a distinctive, boutique character that stands apart from larger institutional facilities.

Care quality and staff are among the most emphasized strengths. Multiple reviews highlight attentive, respectful and knowledgeable staff with geriatric experience who anticipate residents' needs and provide individualized, resident-centered care. Management receives repeated praise for being hands-on, informative and thoughtful, contributing to a sense of safety and trust for families. Testimonials refer to residents being "treated like family," staff that are "first class," and a director who is attentive — language that points to both emotional and practical support for residents and families. There is a consistent impression that staff not only meet daily needs but also focus on emotional and mental well-being in addition to physical care.

Facilities and accommodations are described in detail and positively: private rooms with accessible bathrooms, inviting and light-infused public rooms with fireplaces, comfortable patios and decks, and richly furnished common spaces that evoke a mountain-lodge or high-fashion boutique aesthetic. The property is repeatedly called beautiful, peaceful and serene, and reviewers single out the landscaping, panoramic views and the sense of being close to nature. Cleanliness and organization are repeatedly mentioned, reinforcing the perception of high operational standards.

Dining is cited as a notable highlight. Several reviewers specifically praise gourmet or home-cooked meals (including mention of a master chef), delicious lunches, and memorable culinary touches. Social dining events such as Bingo/Lunch, Happy Hour and special treats (popcorn at midnight, field-trip-style outings) are mentioned as part of a lively, resident-focused lifestyle. These dining and social experiences contribute to the overall sense of a personalized, high-quality living environment rather than a clinical residential setting.

Activity programming is another strong theme: reviewers reference a wide variety of daily and monthly activities designed to stimulate and engage residents — card games, mahjong, library access, Bingo, field trips, monthly social events, and other camaraderie-building offerings. The small resident population is repeatedly framed as a benefit for personalized attention and close social ties, with many reviewers noting that their loved ones are thriving and well-integrated into a like-minded small community.

Patterns and caveats: the boutique, small-capacity model is both a defining strength and a potential limitation. Multiple reviewers celebrate the small size for the intimacy and personalized care it allows, but that same small capacity is referenced as limited during periods such as COVID and could imply constrained admissions or fewer social variety options for some prospective residents. Additionally, while reviews highlight a geriatric-focused and attentive staff, they do not provide detailed information about the level of clinical, skilled nursing, or advanced memory-care services available — an important consideration for families with higher-acuity medical needs. Several reviews also frame the estate as a high-end, "high-fashion" living option; while cost is not discussed explicitly, that positioning may indicate a premium price point that prospective families should verify.

In summary, The Lambertville Estate is consistently portrayed as a standout boutique senior living option with exceptional grounds, tasteful interiors, gourmet dining, robust activities, and highly praised, individualized caregiving. For seniors and families seeking a small, intimate, resort-like residence with strong social programming and attentive staff, the Estate appears to be an excellent fit. Prospective residents should, however, ask specific questions about availability (given small capacity), pricing and what levels of clinical or memory-care support are offered to ensure the community matches any higher-acuity needs. A personal tour — already reported as enjoyable by reviewers — and direct conversations with management about care scope, waitlists and costs will help translate these overwhelmingly positive impressions into an informed placement decision.

    About The Lambertville Estate

The Lambertville Estate sits on 20 quiet acres with trees and a creek running behind the property, so every room catches a view of the countryside and sunlight streams in through more than 160 windows, and that's one of the main reasons people talk about it feeling like a home instead of a large facility. In this contemporary, mountain-lodge-style home, there are 11 bedrooms for up to 15 residents, and each person can decorate their suite with their own furniture, which lets them keep their own style and comfort, and each room includes a private bathroom with nice finishes. The building feels cozy and small, like a big family, with staff and caregivers who get to know residents well, offering attention day and night.

Care here covers independent living, memory care, assisted living, and home care, so residents who need help with daily tasks like bathing, medication management, or mobility, or those wanting to stay active but require a little extra support, have options. The care team includes friendly, trained assistants who work to keep residents healthy and independent for as long as possible, and there's always help with things like meals, laundry, or housekeeping. Residents can eat chef-prepared meals that fit various diets such as kosher, diabetic, or vegetarian, and they can choose to eat in the communal dining area, order guest meals, or use room service.

There are dedicated recreation and social spaces both inside and outside-the gardens and 20 wooded acres encourage people to stroll or try horticultural activities, and inside you'll find rooms for arts and crafts, games, music, and computers. Fitness and wellness amenities are available too, with equipment and programs to stay active physically and mentally. The full activities calendar keeps everyone engaged in hobbies, educational classes, and literary events, and the staff put a lot of energy into making sure activities are meaningful and not just for show, which helps people make friends and keep busy minds.

There's free WiFi in resident units and cable TV in the common spaces. Parking is available for residents and visitors. The whole place is handicap accessible, so it's easy to get around, and there's always someone ready to lend a hand. No pets are allowed. The community puts the focus on making everyone feel at home, safe, and seen, with their own pace and some privacy.

The Lambertville Estate holds state license number 10260001. Prices for care start around $7,000 a month, which covers personal care, health services like companion care and in-home health, meals, laundry, cleaning, and social programs. Visitors often mention the friendly, caring staff and the peaceful, natural setting. There's a blog, gallery, testimonials, and sections introducing staff and activities, giving families a sense of what goes on daily. The team is always open to questions and new faces, and the small size means there's time to give everyone attention, with a commitment to comfort, quality of life, and a sense of independence.
