    Compassionate professional rehab, excellent care

I placed my mom at Timberview for rehab and was very pleased with the compassionate, professional staff, clean welcoming building, and fresh, well-prepared meals. Therapy and nursing were excellent-she regained strength, staff kept us informed and involved, and leadership/administrator were genuinely invested. I feel she's safe, comfortable, and well cared for, and I would use Timberview again for future rehab.

    Summary of reviews

The collective reviews present a facility with substantial strengths in rehabilitation, hands-on caregiving, dining, and social programming, alongside recurring operational concerns. Many families and residents describe strong, compassionate interactions with nursing staff and certified nursing assistants, and repeatedly praise the physical and occupational therapy teams for measurable functional gains and successful discharges home. Reviewers commonly note individualized care plans, regular family updates, assistance navigating benefits and appointments, and a welcoming, bright environment following building updates.

Care quality and staffing present a mixed picture. Positive accounts emphasize dignity-focused treatment, daily check-ins, attentive therapy, and rapid progress for post-acute and rehab patients. Conversely, there are persistent concerns about inconsistent responsiveness to call lights, delays in basic care tasks, and variability in conduct and customer service at the front desk or administrative levels. Several comments suggest staffing shortages at times contribute to service delays; others identify specific clinical-process gaps such as incontinence-care workflows and wound-care or infection-risk management that merit attention. Therapy is often singled out as a major strength, but a number of reviewers describe inconsistent therapy performance or pacing depending on shift or clinician.

Dining, activities, and environment are frequently noted as positive contributors to resident well-being. Multiple reviewers highlight fresh-ingredient meals, daily menu choices, special meals (for example, pancakes or BBQ), and a dining atmosphere residents enjoy. The facility is described as clean, bright, and remodeled in many areas, with accessible accommodations for hearing impairment (wireless TV headphones, closed captioning). A robust calendar of social activities, pet-friendly policies, and frequent animal visits are repeatedly mentioned as supportive of social engagement and morale.

Management and operational patterns are uneven across reviews. There are clear endorsements of particular leaders and the Director of Nursing in some accounts, along with notes of professional admissions and discharge coordination. At the same time, reviewers report variability in management communication, occasional poor customer-service interactions at reception, and concerns about admissions or transfer organization. Some reviews raise allegations about reputation-management efforts; others point to pharmacy coordination problems and medication-delivery delays. Prospective residents and families should weigh the facility's strong rehabilitation and social supports against reports of inconsistent responsiveness and operational variability, and consider asking specific questions about staffing, wound-care protocols, medication/pharmacy processes, and recent quality or infection-control survey results during their evaluation.
