    Compassionate clean family-like senior care

I placed my mother at Diamond Ages and have been very pleased. The large, comfortable room and home-like living area make visits easy with flexible hours, and the staff-especially Corina and Vitaly-are compassionate, patient, and professional; clean facility, strong medical coordination and hospice support, engaging activities, and truly family-like care. I highly recommend them.

    About Diamond Ages AFH, LLC

Diamond Ages AFH, LLC sits at 9418 NE 151st Ct in Vancouver, Washington, right in a quiet neighborhood, and offers care in a small, comfortable house with six licensed beds, which means each resident gets plenty of attention and support, and this place is licensed by the state with the number 753759, and you'll see that caregivers help with things like bathing, dressing, health appointments, taking medicine, and even blood glucose checks, because they want residents to be safe and well-cared-for day and night. The house lets people live as independently as possible, with help when needed, and the assisted living services cover help with meals, personal care, and daily activities, while the memory care programs are set up for people with Alzheimer's or dementia and have memory activities and secure spaces to keep everyone safe. Some residents stay here long-term, and others come for short breaks-respite care-giving their main caregivers a rest, and the home welcomes folks with many health needs, including those needing insulin, help with Parkinson's or brain injury (TBI), ventilator or trach care, and it's got features for people who need extra equipment like Hoyer lifts, need two people to help them move, or are on TPN. Staff are used to helping people with mental health, developmental disabilities, or dementia. The rooms are private, with shared baths, and there's air conditioning, internet, cable TV, and Russian TV channels for those who want them, plus a private patio and gardens for relaxing, and the place is secured with alarm systems and a full fire sprinkler system just in case. Visitors usually come from 9:00am to 8:00pm. The home serves home-cooked meals and takes care of laundry and cleaning, and residents enjoy activities like bingo, painting, gardening, movie nights, music, story time, and even walks in the garden. In case someone gets sicker, they offer skilled nursing and can set up wound care, palliative care, hospice services, medication delivery, on-site dental hygiene, oxygen, and even transportation to appointments. Diamond Ages AFH, LLC is part of a big network with lots of other small homes like Georgette Elder Care, Bing's Adult Family Home, and Blessed Heart Adult Family Home, all of which are set up to give personal, home-like care in small settings, and all try to help folks live with dignity, stay as independent as possible, and give families some comfort knowing their loved one's being watched over around the clock.
