I toured this small, family-oriented community for my loved one and was very pleased. The facility is clean, homey and easy to get around; staff are friendly, long-tenured, and know residents by name, going above and beyond, and Chef Bob's meals were excellent. Activities, outings and attentive administration made this a warm, well-run place I would recommend to families.

Summary of reviews
Paradise Manor appears to be a small, family‑style assisted living community with consistent strengths around staff engagement, cleanliness, and a home‑like environment. Many families described long‑tenured and caring employees who know residents by name, provide regular care updates, and make efforts to accommodate individual needs. The facility offers private rooms, open communal spaces (large TV room, computer area), and a wheelchair‑friendly layout that supports easy movement. The dining program receives repeated praise — including a named chef — for accommodating dietary needs and providing nutritious meals.
Activity programming and social opportunities are present and varied: reviewers mention group games, organized trips, church services, and other resident‑focused events. For prospective residents seeking a smaller community that emphasizes familiarity and personal attention, Paradise Manor’s atmosphere and responsiveness to social and dietary preferences are notable positives.
At the same time, several operational and facility‑level concerns recur. The building is older in places and undergoing updates; reviewers described worn or darker interior areas and occasional odor concerns associated with renovation activity. Bathroom and bathing infrastructure is a clear limitation: some downstairs rooms have private bathrooms while upstairs rooms share bathrooms, and overall bathing capacity appears constrained relative to the facility’s needs. These physical constraints may reduce convenience and privacy for some residents.
Clinical and management issues are the other main area of variability. Some families reported gaps in medical coverage or responsiveness (for example, extended periods without an on‑site physician or delays in communication), and others described unsatisfactory interactions with leadership or inconsistent family communication. A small number of reviews included a serious allegation concerning staff control of a resident’s finances; that claim warrants direct inquiry and verification with facility management and appropriate oversight agencies. Finally, the community’s small size and staffing model may make it less suitable for residents requiring higher‑acuity nursing care or specialized dementia services.
Overall, Paradise Manor presents as a clean, personable, and activity‑oriented small assisted living option with strengths in caregiving and dining. Prospective residents and families should weigh those strengths against the facility’s physical layout and bathing limitations, confirm current renovation status and odor mitigation, and ask specific questions about clinical coverage, medication and financial safeguards, and how management communicates with families before deciding if it is the right fit.
