    Summary review

Overall sentiment: Reviews for Pleasant Trees Personal Care Home are strongly positive. Multiple reviewers emphasize cleanliness, a welcoming, home-like atmosphere, and consistently praise the staff and management. The facility is frequently described as extremely clean with beautiful grounds and cozy rooms, and reviewers commonly recommend the home to others.

Care quality and staff: Reviewers highlight that staff are competent, genuinely caring, and treat residents like family. Administrators and owners are described as friendly and personable, contributing to a sense that the home is well-managed and resident-centered. The presence of monitored care is noted, and the overall impression is that residents feel safe and well cared for. The comments about staff being "amazing," treating residents like family, and the owners' positive personalities point to strong interpersonal care and day-to-day responsiveness.

Facilities and services: The facility itself receives high marks: reviewers describe it as clean and pleasantly maintained with attractive grounds. Rooms are called quaint and cozy, suggesting a comfortable, non-institutional environment. Several on-site services are available (podiatrist, lab, hospice services, and beauty services), which indicates a convenient continuum of routine and supportive care without frequent off-site trips. Meals and activities are explicitly included in the fees, which reviewers cite as a benefit—this supports predictability in costs and an active environment for residents.

Management, pricing, and availability: Pricing information is provided in the reviews with a private room at $3,195 and a semi-private option at $2,195. These transparent rates are useful for prospective residents and families. However, reviewers also note operational constraints: there is currently only one suite available, and overnight coverage is handled by a single staff member from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. While reviewers do not explicitly criticize these points, they represent factual limitations that could be important depending on a prospective resident's acuity and needs.

Notable patterns and considerations: The most consistent themes are exceptional cleanliness, strong staff-resident relationships, convenience of on-site services, and an overall safe, home-like environment. The primary operational caveats that emerge from the summaries are limited room availability and minimal overnight staffing. For families considering Pleasant Trees, the reviews suggest a high-quality day-to-day living experience with personalized care, but prospective residents with higher overnight care needs or those who require immediate move-in might want to verify overnight staffing ratios, emergency response protocols, and current room availability. Overall, the reviews portray Pleasant Trees as a well-run, warmly staffed personal care home that comes highly recommended by those who have experience with it.

The home has a license verification process and meets safety and health inspection rules, while a caregiver-to-senior ratio is followed closely according to requirements, and although smoking isn't allowed indoors, residents can have some independence if they're able. Both men and women are welcome, but there are no private or unique names for rooms or special services worth mentioning, and Pleasant Trees doesn't accept Medicare unless certified by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Amenities support various care needs, and meals are always provided, so those needing long-term, non-acute care in Lehighton will find Pleasant Trees maintains a community where kindness and helpfulness are part of everyday living.
