About Richboro Rehabilitation & Nursing Center

Richboro Rehabilitation & Nursing Center sits on almost 7 acres on a quiet road in Northampton, having served the community since the early 1970s, and with 82 beds in a family-style setting you find lots of open outdoor space, which many residents enjoy, and the building itself is wheelchair accessible with onsite parking, so families and visitors can come easily. Services cover personal care, short-term and long-term skilled nursing, Alzheimer's care, hospice, respite stays, and specialty therapies like physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapy, and the staff uses advanced tools and technology to help with rehabilitation and specialty care. People get individualized care plans from a team of nurses, doctors, and therapists who focus on supporting recovery and independence, whether someone is healing after surgery, needs ongoing help with memory care, or wants help to return home after a hospital stay, and for those staying longer, there's plenty to do, such as arts and crafts, trivia, morning stretch or chair yoga, board games, religious services or live music, and the recreational department offers a regular schedule of programs and activities. There's a Spark Rehabilitation Program which connects hospital care, rehab, and follow-up with each person's physicians, so families feel like there's a plan for their loved one no matter what their needs, and the center tries to keep hospital re-admissions low by tailoring treatments to each case. There are always licensed nurses on staff, with an average of 3.67 nursing hours per resident per day, slightly below the state average, but the nurse turnover rate is better than most facilities in the state, with more staff staying consistent through the year. Richboro's most recent state survey in June 2024 showed two deficiencies, both about menu planning and food providers, so improvements are being made, and the earlier 2023 report also listed two deficiencies, which puts it about average in that regard. The facility is managed by Atul Jain and Moshe Stern, with full ownership by Phrh Holdings LLC, so the management is clear and direct, and the center is associated with Prestige Healthcare Administrative Services. Plans are ongoing for renovations to keep the building up to date and comfortable, keeping the home-like atmosphere, and there are amenities designed for comfort and safety. There's always a guest services team around every day, and while no place is perfect, folks here will see a mix of dedicated care and effort to help each person gain comfort, independence, and a sense of community.
