    Peaceful senior community, chilly pool

I live in a peaceful, well-landscaped senior community with friendly neighbors and a surprisingly smart, beautiful parrot that brightens the place. The homes have nice architecture and exterior finishes and the amenities building is well designed. There's an outdoor pool, but it's unheated and pretty frigid (the ocean nearby is warmer).

About Stonegate at Prince Creek LLC

Stonegate at Prince Creek LLC sits at 117 Stonegate Blvd in Murrells Inlet, SC, and folks who end up living here can find condo units that look like big, single-family homes, but they're actually four condos in each one, and each condo usually gives you two bedrooms and two bathrooms, an open floor plan, a two-car garage, and about 1,500 square feet or more to move around in, which feels roomy and comfortable, and you can pick between two different condo layouts, both with plenty of living space and nice features inside. This place offers several home styles with names like Edistoview, Follyview, Kiawahview, Litchfieldview, Myrtleview, Pawleysview, and Seabrookview, and when someone wants to buy a condo here, recent prices have been around $265,000 to $365,000.

Folks live in a quiet, peaceful setting surrounded by marshes, bays, forests, and the beaches of the Lowcountry, and there are scenic walking trails, water views, and sunsets that make you feel calm, plus it's pretty close to shopping, restaurants, and a bunch of golf courses. Stonegate at Prince Creek is meant for active adults over 55, so the whole community has things like a big clubhouse, a fitness center, a large pool, library, movie room, and a spa and wellness area, and there are lots of daily activities, walking paths, an arts room, resident-run programs, scheduled events, and game nights, which keep people social and help make friends if you want to join in.

This community does more than independent living, since there are services for assisted living and memory care, with support for people living with dementia, and they have apartments-studio and semi-private apartments-just right for someone needing memory care or extra help. Some folks just need light support, and they can get help with bathing, dressing, taking medicine, getting meals, and using the laundry, plus the cleaning is taken care of, and if families need a break, there's respite care, too. For anyone who needs full nursing or rehab, there is skilled nursing as well, with round-the-clock care for those complex needs.

Dining is available all day, with restaurant style meals prepared by a chef and options for people with allergies or diabetes, and the kitchen staff makes sure every meal fits folks' needs, so you can worry less about cooking. Every unit comes with private bathrooms, kitchenettes, air conditioning, cable TV, telephone, and Wi-Fi, so people stay comfortable and connected. With various real estate options and terms like Med. List Price, Average DOM, and Property Listing Widget, different local real estate agencies like Century 21 Palms Realty, The Litchfield Company Re, Century 21 Barefoot Realty, Garden City Realty, Inc, and Innovate Real Estate help manage listings and property tours.

Garden homes are also part of the community with seven different floor plans to choose from, and there's a phase 4 lifestyle, though the details on that aren't clear, just that it's part of the way things are set up in Stonegate at Prince Creek. The place does its best to provide maintenance-free living, where you can focus on hobbies, stroll along quiet paths, join a club or a movie night, or just enjoy the natural beauty outside your window, whether you're looking for an independent lifestyle, some extra support, or a secure memory care environment.
