    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is strongly positive. Multiple reviewers praise Grand Strand Healthcare for providing excellent, skilled, and compassionate care. The facility is repeatedly described as a beautiful nursing center with a safe environment and an upbeat atmosphere that promotes enjoyment and resident interaction. Several reviewers explicitly recommend the center for both rehabilitation and long-term stays, indicating broad satisfaction with the level of care delivered.

Care quality and therapy received especially high marks. The therapy team is called out as excellent and effective at helping residents meet goals, and reviewers characterize the clinical care as skilled and compassionate. Comments such as "staff go above and beyond" and "well taken care of patients" point to a high level of clinical attention and follow-through. The presence of knowledgeable and professional doctors further reinforces a perception of solid medical oversight.

Staff and customer service are recurring strengths. Reviewers highlight staff who are kind, helpful, efficient, and caring. The staff conduct appears to contribute to resident happiness and satisfaction; several notes mention residents being active, out of their rooms, and interacting with others, which suggests staff support for engagement and mobility. Administrative or organizational reputation is also positive — one reviewer notes that the Wilson Group "sets the standard in SC," implying confidence in leadership and broader management practices.

Facility-related feedback is mostly favorable: words like "wonderful facility," "very clean," and "odor free" appear in multiple summaries, indicating good housekeeping and a pleasant physical environment in many reviewers' experiences. That said, there is a notable negative mention of a "lack of cleanliness." This creates a conflict in the dataset—while most reviewers report a clean, odor-free facility, at least one reviewer reported cleanliness concerns. The pattern suggests the cleanliness issue may be isolated, intermittent, or area-specific rather than universal, but it is a real concern that prospective residents and families should verify in person.

Activities and social environment are emphasized as strong points. Reviewers mention lots of activities and an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment, with observation that residents are "interactive with others." This indicates a robust activity program that supports socialization and likely contributes to overall resident well-being.

What reviews do not cover: there is little to no specific information about dining, meal quality, pricing, or detailed management policies beyond the positive nod to Wilson Group. Given the overwhelmingly positive comments about staff, therapy, and facility aesthetics, the single negative cleanliness report is the principal area to probe further. For families or prospective residents, a recommended next step would be an on-site visit focusing on cleanliness, housekeeping routines, and any recent changes in staffing or management that could affect consistency.

In summary, Grand Strand Healthcare is portrayed in these reviews as a high-quality nursing and rehabilitation center with strong clinical care, an effective therapy team, engaged and caring staff, a pleasant physical environment, and a lively activity program. The primary caveat from the reviews is a concern about cleanliness reported by at least one reviewer; this appears to be an outlier against several positive cleanliness comments but should be confirmed during a visit. Overall, reviewers are comfortable recommending the facility for rehab and long-term care based on the experiences reported.

    About Grand Strand Healthcare

Grand Strand Healthcare sits at 4452 Socastee Blvd in Myrtle Beach, SC, and offers a wide range of care options for older adults, and with pricing each month falling anywhere between $6,132 and $9,081 depending on the type of care a person needs, it means there are options whether folks need skilled nursing, assisted living, or independent living, and being a facility with only 8 certified beds, it has a smaller, more homelike feeling with staff you can talk to about things like staff ratios and services during initial visits or assessments, and they help with insurance too, taking long-term care insurance as well as Medicare and Medicaid, which makes things a touch easier for families who have to sort out all those details. The place has plenty of safety and handicap-friendly features like sprinkler systems, emergency alert systems, and wide hallways, and people living there get help with daily things like dressing, bathing, and medication management, and they can help residents move about if they can't walk on their own or need help getting in and out of bed. There's a long list of medical offerings, including wound care, nurses on staff, podiatry visits, occupational therapy, and even personal care aides who help however they're needed, and if someone likes to keep up with laundry or have it done, they've got that covered too. Folks will find activities each day, things like arts, crafts, health and wellness programs, and even educational sessions, all in rooms set up for games, movies, or getting together, plus there's guest parking, WiFi, cable TV, air conditioning, washers and dryers, kitchenettes, and community spaces like a garden or movie theater. Meals come from a professional chef and can be tailored to dietary needs like allergies or diabetes, and people can eat all day if they want, enjoying a full dining room or making use of kitchenettes if they prefer that kind of independence, and if getting out for doctor visits or errands is a challenge, transportation is provided along with good access to local healthcare links like Carolina Orthopaedic Specialists or South Strand Senior Health Center. Grand Strand Healthcare is for-profit, has over 20 years in the senior care business, and keeps resident and family councils so people's voices can be heard and needs met, and with 12 to 16 hours of daily skilled nursing, a 24-hour call system, and certified nursing and physician oversight, residents can expect help at any hour. There's a focus on both rehabilitative and long-term custodial care, with memory care programs for those with memory loss, respite and hospice care when needed, and even companion care or help with move-in and housekeeping, and being part of a Continuing Care Retirement Community means residents can shift between care levels as their health changes. The community works through local hospital networks such as Colleton Medical Center and Trident Health through the Plus Care Network, sharing information to help make post-hospital decisions clearer. Grand Strand Healthcare sticks to all licensing and safety rules and gives each resident attention that fits their needs, all while providing a sense of community near the Myrtle Beach coast. Availability for beds comes up in June 2025, and with a company size between 100 and 249 employees, it combines small-facility attention with the resources of a larger care network, always focusing on patient well-being and safe, comfortable living.
