    Excellent care, staffing concerns remain

I'm relieved my loved one receives excellent meals and genuinely friendly, accommodating caregivers - they provide great care and it seems like a great place to work. My concerns are high staff turnover and chronic understaffing (rooms not cleaned often, promised walks sometimes missed). Still, I highly recommend this facility.

    About NorthCliff

NorthCliff sits on Highway 22 in Lexington, Tennessee, and has offered support to seniors since February 11, 2015. NorthCliff Assisted Living provides assisted living, independent living, memory care, and nursing home services, so residents can get the help they need as they age. The building has private living spaces and bedrooms, and some residents get kitchenettes, which means they can keep their independence while having support close by. Care partners help with daily activities like meal preparation, medication management, bathing, incontinence care, and diabetic care, always aiming to support each person's unique needs and wishes. Residents have access to therapy solutions for recovery after surgery or illness, ongoing support for medical conditions, and home health services that help prevent hospitalizations and trips to the ER. NorthCliff provides 24-hour supervision with a comprehensive call system for emergencies, and staff members always try to make people feel safe and engaged. The staff speaks English and some other languages, which makes it easier for everyone to communicate. Residents can choose kosher or vegetarian meals when they eat in the dining area, and nutritious food is an everyday part of life here. Activity programs include devotional gatherings both inside and outside the community, along with other opportunities for fun or social time, and there's plenty of room to gather, with both indoor and outdoor common spaces like the back patio for relaxation. Transportation is available, both complimentary and at a cost, so residents can get around when they need to. Living spaces have baths, tubs, and wheelchair-accessible showers, and short-term or respite stays are possible too. NorthCliff remains a locally operated private community, currently managed by Ms. Barbara Dyer, and the team works closely with healthcare providers to tailor care plans and support overall health and wellness. Amenities also support mobility and transportation needs, and there's help for residents who need non-ambulatory care. The community wants to help people stay as independent as possible, while also feeling welcome, safe, and at home. NorthCliff is not accredited by BBB but does have an A+ rating.
