Greenbrier Meadows sits in Martin, Tennessee, and is the only assisted living facility in Weakley County, drawing folks from nearby counties and states, with a minimum monthly budget of $2,300. The place focuses on letting residents do their own living, with staff around to help out when needed, and there's a group of personal assistants who step in for support, so folks can keep as much independence as they want. Americare runs Greenbrier Meadows, and the facility offers a wide mix of care options like assisted living, independent living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation, along with help for those with persistent mental illness, with Medicaid eligibility for some supportive living services. Licensed nurses and certified medication aides, who get to know each resident's preferences, handle medication and healthcare needs, and provide 24-hour supervision and assistance with daily tasks. Common areas make it easy for residents to spend time together, read from a collection of books, play Wii games, enjoy movies, or attend devotional services, and there's a full calendar of social and recreational events including visits from volunteers, UTM students, and local church and community groups providing both social and spiritual support. The kitchen staff includes an on-site chef and offers a special dining approach, where folks get made-to-order breakfasts and can pick from menus at all meals, while private rooms with baths can be decorated with personal touches, and the beauty salon, spa, and wellness center tend to both body and mind with exercise, entertainment, and educational activities. Greenbrier Meadows has supportive programs for people needing mental health help and features discreetly secured memory care areas with up to 20 rooms, which aim to keep residents engaged while maintaining safety and privacy. Folks living here can get hospice care, therapy services, medication management, transportation, and home health solutions when going out is hard, plus there's staff to coordinate with personal doctors or healthcare providers, and team members who handle life essentials like meals, care, and activities with a focus on keeping everyone comfortable and connected. The environment feels open and home-like, with roomy accommodations, tastefully furnished living areas for fellowship, and a mix of programs and events that support well-being, encourage independence, and foster a sense of belonging, so residents can live their best life at any age, with compassionate care partners focused on mind, body, and soul.
Fantastic staff clean facility peaceful
My mom has lived here nearly two years and I'm very pleased. Brandy and the staff are fantastic-friendly, caring, respectful, and provide 24/7 care-so she's happy, well cared for, and we have real peace of mind. The facility is clean, pleasant, and well staffed with consistently positive interactions. Only downside: it's a small rural town with fewer activities, so it can be less stimulating for a classical musician; otherwise I highly recommend it.
