    About Juliette Fowler Communities

Juliette Fowler Communities sits on more than 20 acres of wooded land in East Dallas near Swiss Avenue, and the place has a long history, going back to when it was founded back in 1892. The campus serves older adults and young people, with programs for seniors as well as foster care, adoption, and special housing for young women through The Ebby House. The senior living services include independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, affordable senior housing, and home health. There's a skilled nursing facility that's five-star rated, with high marks for inspections, staffing, and quality. Memory care features the "I'm Still Here" certified program, which is unique to North Texas, and the team receives a six-month training program from the Hearthstone Institute, making them true Dementia Specialists. Residents with memory loss have access to in-house therapy to help with speech and movement, and they can move to higher levels of care if their needs change.

The Memory Care Neighborhood offers programs such as Music and Memories, music and art therapy, adaptive dance, and Artful Awakenings with the Junior League of Dallas, plus a bistro kitchen, sensory gardens, and raised flower beds. There's a focus on planned life enrichment with social events, spiritual support, outings, speakers, and activities for both mental and physical needs. A community pastor lives on campus, leading worship and spiritual care, while the chapel, library, exercise room, and pool are open for resident use. Apartments come as studios, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom options, with large windows, pet-friendly policies, no maintenance worries, and utilities included, plus spaces start at monthly rental fees as low as $2,650 and assisted living from about $3,500.

Assisted living helps with daily care such as bathing, dressing, meals, medications, laundry, and housekeeping. Independent living and assisted living offer access to amenities like common areas, a greenhouse, outdoor gardens, a dog park, bird sanctuary, beauty services, scheduled transportation, and concierge support. Green spaces and partnerships with the Dallas County Master Gardeners give residents extra opportunities with gardening and nature. The community even invites volunteers and hosts public activities like nature walks, star parties, and conservation days, working with areas such as Elm Fork Nature Preserve and Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center. The campus has about 54 living units, supports more than 500 residents, and employs over 100 people, and it's designated as a Great Place to Work. Besides the elder services, Juliette Fowler Communities supports children and youth with outreach, foster care, and programs for at-risk young women, making the setting truly intergenerational and focused on belonging for all ages.
