    Excellent compassionate care, clean home

I am extremely happy with this home - immaculately clean, warm and home-like, and Ruby and her staff are compassionate, attentive, and go above and beyond. My mom is safe and well cared for 24/7, enjoys fresh nutritious meals, daily activities, and the team communicates clearly and coordinated our hospice plan perfectly. I highly recommend them; only caveat is limited Medicaid availability (one room) due to a policy change.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is strongly positive, with repeated praise for the quality of care, the staff, and the home-like environment. Reviewers consistently highlight an attentive, compassionate team led by the owner Ruby, who is repeatedly credited with going above and beyond, personally intervening, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Caregivers are described as kind, respectful, well-trained, and treating residents like family, which is frequently cited as providing peace of mind to families and improving resident comfort and mood.

Care quality and health monitoring emerge as major strengths. Reviewers mention 24/7 care availability, proactive observation of health changes, specific clinical attentiveness (for example diligent knee care), and effective coordination with families and outside providers. Several reviewers also noted that hospice care plans were implemented seamlessly and compassionately, indicating capability to manage complex, end-of-life needs. COVID-19 safety measures and policies were referenced positively, supporting a sense that the facility prioritizes resident safety.

The physical environment and cleanliness are repeatedly emphasized. Descriptions such as immaculately clean, spotless, well-lit, beautifully decorated, and spacious appear across reviews. Outdoor areas are described as welcoming and attractive, and interiors are noted to feel like a comfortable, second home rather than an institutional setting. These environmental factors are often linked to the overall sense of wellbeing reported by visitors and families.

Dining and daily life are frequently praised. Multiple reviews call out fresh, healthy, home-cooked meals served three times a day plus tea time, with several guests labeling the food delicious. Activities programming is another consistent positive: residents participate in daily activities, exercise during the week, special holiday events, and social interactions that keep residents active and engaged. Reviewers noted that the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and sociable, with residents appearing happy during visits.

Communication and management style receive strong marks. Families report quick, clear, and transparent communication from staff, which includes notification of health changes and coordination with relatives. Language translation support was specifically mentioned, highlighting attention to diverse family needs. The owner and staff are described as professional and organized, contributing to trust and reassurance among family members.

Consistent patterns of concern are limited but worth noting. A recurring operational issue raised by reviewers is limited Medicaid acceptance — reviewers specifically mention only one Medicaid room and a Medicaid policy change, which implies constrained access for families relying on that coverage. One review mentioned lower perceived value for money, suggesting at least occasional concern about cost relative to benefits. These points indicate potential limits on affordability and capacity; prospective families should verify current Medicaid policies, availability, and pricing before committing.

In summary, the reviews portray Sunrise Senior Care Adult Family Home as a small, highly regarded adult family home with exemplary staff, excellent cleanliness, strong clinical attentiveness, nourishing meals, and active programming. The owner-led culture appears central to the positive experience, producing a family-like, warm environment and strong communication with families. The main caveat emerging from the reviews is limited Medicaid availability and occasional cost concerns, so prospective residents should confirm funding options and bed availability. Overall, the consensus among reviewers is one of high satisfaction and strong recommendation.

They've earned high ratings from families-some reviews mention a 4.8-star average and others a 4.1 rating, but either way, people talk about the compassionate, reliable team and the clean, well-lit spaces. Residents get help with not just daily routines but also things like podiatry, regular nursing, physical or occupational therapy, mental health support, range of motion, feeding, special diets, and help with walkers or wheelchairs. The place serves seniors from Bothell, Lynnwood, and the larger area, and nearby adult family homes are available if more specific care is needed. Staff have plenty of experience and training in this field, and they make detailed care plans to fit each person, whether memory needs, mental health, or developmental disabilities, including Alzheimer's and other kinds of dementia. There's transportation for doctor visits, plus kitchens or kitchenettes, laundry, guest parking, and all the basics for daily living. Sunrise Senior Care Adult Family Home works hard to offer a steady and comfortable home, and they focus on helping both residents and families feel safe and supported.
